Just curious as to what's gained by supplying your allies in your party camp. More ally help in the final battle? Stronger allies? A way to throw away your excess gold and hope for the best?
What does giving resources to allies accomplish?

A way to get rid of things you don't need before the last battle, and gain some experience. I'm not really sure whether or not it improves the effectiveness of the troops at all; I haven't noticed any major improvements to them whether you give them more supplies or not.

you have to give a lot to notice an experience gain. I gave 30 gold (the max it would allow) to the guy from redcliff and i went from 270 exp to 1021 exp. other than that one they are all small gains. but it is usefull if you just need another 100-400 exp to level.
