I've installed ME2 many time (I re-install a fresh OS often) an d I just put together a new build (MSI 790X mobo / MSI 460 GTX card / Athlon II x 3 425 cpu) and I can install ME2 no problem but when I launch the game th efollowing happens:

- I get the launcher window and I can set the gaming options an dit will save and exit as well.
- then I click PLAY and an error window opens that says :

"The game cannot launch because of a misconfiguration. Please reinstall your game and try again."

and in the error windows toolbar it says AWC.DLL

I went online but found no fix and since STEAM was having a $10 special on ME2 this past weekend I bought it again. Sure enough, the game loaded and runs no problem.

I bought the copy that is getting the erro at Direct2Drive and they have ignored my emails. I figure their monitoring software has to be the culprit because the STEAM version runs just fine and I cam re-install to my hearts content.

Does anyone know how I can run the D2D downloaded ME2 ?
