Thanks for the clarification, I'll keep my eye out for the news of an LI that is more appealing to me. If it doesn't come... que sera..sera....

Hopefully the as yet unrevealed female character is both more to your liking and a LI.

Well, yes and no.  My initial comment wasn't really an attack.  It was my honest opinion.  Your reaction to that and other posts in this thread led me to continue. 

To tell you the truth, I'm done debating with you on this, as it has nothing to do with my OP. I will just tell you this.. I am a writer and I love it. I write everyday and I believe I am somewhat proficient at it. I have had some moderate successes.... I write the way I write and I am not trying to impress anyone.

You might not be.  You might also find fewer bunny trail debates occurring in future if you also cultivate a more casual conversational writing style (I've done so myself, though I never really followed those trails as far as you did when they popped up!)

I respect almost anyones' opinion, unless it is unfounded and inflammatory. Your opinions match both. If you had read one of my works and thought it was poorly constructed, was filled with syntactic fallacies, and misguided and aimless in general..... I would say 'ok.' But you are making a judgement about who I am, and what you believe my abilities to be. I take great offense to that, because I don't believe it was warranted, necessary, or informed in any way.

You seem to be under the impression that I think you're not smart/well educated/etc.  I did not say that.  I said your writing style makes it look like you're purposefully seeking out more unusual words to use when a commonly used word would fit just fine. 

In summation... please go bother someone else and stop picking fights with me...
