If you're starved for attention, you could just start a thread about how Fenris is a sissy looking pretty-boy and Varric a short, hairy dude and you have no interest in boinking either. Or just go troll their fan threads.
Yes because I was totally talking to you and asking you that.
If you wanted me to pay attention to you all you had to do was ask.
I was trying to point out that not liking a character's appearece doesn't give you a complex.
Also Fenris is hot.
Hopefully with Male and Fem Hawke.

Ok... Everyone voicing their personal opinions and then attacking *my* personal preferences seems a bit hypocritical, eh? I was simply giving the reasons that *I* don't like the two female romance options presented thus far to sate the inevitable 'Why don't you like them? I love them..."
And, not that I really want to get into it... but no one has the right to tell me that the traits I find virtuous in the opposite sex are incorrect. Period. It takes a bit to insult me, but that actually does it. I could care less that everyone in our society deems promiscuity as acceptable, because I do not. I will not go out of my way to insult or judge others, but I will not accept the blanket of societal normalcy to be draped over my personal convictions because they don't ally themselves with the collective.
My question was simple, and no one even attempted to address it...
HAHAHA. You think I used a thesaurus for THAT!? For what? Wow.....the expectation of literary competancy in this country appalls me.

No. No one knows if there are others.
And by the way, we don't even know if Aveline is romanceable.
Oh, ok. Thank you, sir.

Right now, I wouldn't want to have my Hawke romance either Isabella or Aveline, but it's because I don't find their personalitie and backstories as interesting as say, Fenris. If they are romanceable, hopefully something about their personalities/personal histories will cause me to change my mind.

Frankly I don't understand it either. I think Aveline looks fine. Strong and Competent. Granted I doubt she's an LI but she's far from ugly by any means. Isabela too to be honest. I just can't stand when people say they don't like someone's (particularly a female's) appearence they get yelled at for being sexist or pigs. <_<

Personally, once I start playing a game I find a character's personality more influential in determining whether I want to romance a character than the hotness factor. Maybe that's just me, though.
Actually, that would include me as well... In DA:O my first impulse was to pursue Morrigan, but I tended to gravitate towards Leliana for the reason you mentioned.

Yeah, there's a whole lot of holier-than-thou goin' on here. Personally, I think Aveline looks fine and that Bethany's pontoons are a bit off-putting, but we all have different tastes and that's not a big deal, is it? Guess I'm shallow, too, because Alistair didn't lead the way into rooms because he was wearing the big shiny armor.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying a healthy dose of sex. Hating Zevran and Isabela purely on the basis that they "get around" is a very shallow evaluation of their characters and does not do them credit.
You hardly know anything about Isabela at all and yet you can't seem to stop slagging her off at any given moment. Even if she did turn out to be very different than what you'd expected, it wouldn't matter since you never even gave her a chance to begin with.

Healthy no. Don't care about someone having as much sex as they want to. Just don't want to be a part of it and don't appreciate being talked about like a piece of meat. That said I don't like having advances placed on me by her either. But granted that wasn't the only reason I dislike Zevran and I doubt it'll be the only reason I dislike Isabela. Hell I dislike them both for several reasons far higher up the list.
??? I know she's a liar and a cheat...she also seems to be an attention wh*re if her outfit is anything to go by. That's enough for me to dislike her.
Though give her a chance? Uh...okay?
Can't stop slagging her off? WTF are you talking abou?

It is very amusing that you are constantly referring to the vernacular of a well-eduacted 16 year-old as being beyond the parameters of average intelligence.

Really? Being a sl-t doesn't say anything about your personality? Sorry I'm just not Qunari and I show love in sex aswell. It's not about being male or female. Zevran is a sl-t too. I think that THEY are shallow, and that having a healthy relationship includes being ''owned'' by someone particular both ways.

Isabella is known to have had group sex with the Warden, Leliana, Zevran, and Alistair in some game worlds, at the same time. So in some realities, at least, she is very much a tramp. ;P Maybe she was first turned out by the Warden, but I doubt it. ;P

Also, I dislike the elitist attitude that because I have been a member of your 'exclusive' forum for a shorter duration that my perspective is invalidated in some way. How many months or years would I have to be a part of your inner circle before my opinions are valued? Typical sheep mentality of isolate and alienate.. sad..

A conversation with her in DA:O was enough. She said plenty. How should I put this.... I respect her. I always respect all peoples thoughts and ways. If my friend is a sl-t it doesn't mean that I don't like her. She can be an exelent friend and I will like her and respect her, I just won't romance her, let her find someone who cares about such things less than me.

Half of the people on these forums use buzzwords in many of their posts and are never ridiculed for it; whether this guy is a troll or not.. he barely used any at all. Direct your wrath at someone who is actually trying to sound smart just for the sake of sounding smart because he clearly wasn't.
*edit* How has no one even noticed Gaider's post? He pretty much answered all of the OP's questions without even answering them, this topic is dead.

I keep copy/pasting that answer of mine but since people keep recreating threads about that, I don't see the harm of pasting it again :
I also think the threesome/foursome thing from DA:O is taken far too seriously, as if it were canon. To me, it was more of an easter egg for the immature gamers we are (I don't remember the Pearl[/b] being obligatory in order to finish the game). Would you say waking up with two nugs in your bed really broke your RP ? I think at that point, one gets it that it's just the developers trying to have some fun ; you forget about the intrigue for a minute and play along ; the fourth wall is broken. The very fact that prude Alistair could be part of the threesome/foursome IMO shows that it was never meant to be taken so seriously.
Also, the very way we encounter Isabela[/b] (if I remember correctly, she duels a guy and has a bunch of others fleeing) shows that she is a determined woman, and probably not that easy. When YOUR warden hints at sex, she says something like "now you've piqued my interest", showing that she is probably choosy, though definitely liberated.
To me, it was quite obvious since my first playthrough that the reason she hangs out at the Pearl[/b] in the first place is because she's a sailor, a "tough girl", who likes confrontation and is not afraid of getting picked on by some men since she can clearly defend herself ; not because she's a prostitute at heart. Of all the hangouts in Denerim, apart from the port, the Pearl[/b] sounds like the most appropriate for a buccaneer such as herself looking for action (in a non-sexual sense).
As for the romance side, Oghren, who seems pretty naughty himself and has a penchant for shady establishments turns out to be the biggest sweetheart once his personal quest is active (and when searching desperately for Branka), so how could something acceptable for a male character be sacrilegious for a female character anyway ?
