Can we simply all agree that we have different opinions on what characterizes an attractive character? We all come from different backgrounds and have different personalities; consequently, someone like Alistair may appeal to me because he is a gentleman and virgin, but others might find him whiny and immature. Likewise, someone else might find Zevran too sexually forward, while others appreciate that has a fun personality, yet is capable of deep emotion once you break open his shell.



I appreciate that Bioware tries to provide romance options of all flavors. Variety is the spice of life, after all. In addition, I would encourage the OP (and everyone else, for that matter) to be open minded about the romances. A character may not be attractive or even someone you would romance in real life; however, like in real life, there is often much more to them than what you can gather from first impressions.



In summary: let’s agree to disagree, and try to stay civil. We’re all friends here, right?

Are you serious??? You should call her your friend. Her sex life is none of your business and the fact that you can't even type what you called her because of the filter shows that it is considered highly derogatory, if you really had any doubt. As for what some people might call themselves, be aware that most people would not call themselves that and others would be offended if someone else called them that, especially when they didn't know that person or depending on the context it is being used in.

Ok straight out of the dictionary: Sl-t --- Refers to a sexually promiscuous person. I have no idea why should this word even be censored. And yes, her sexual life is not my business, she just talks about it sometimes.

Apologies in advance if what im about to write is total bs but,  i was under the impression that in DA:O Alistair was the only LI who had never slept with anyone else. Zevran very cleary has, Leliana also has i believe, and Morrigan alludes to having done so also.

So really when you consider all of that, 75% of the LI companions have all had past experiences. Not trying to bash anyone who prefers their LI to be a first timer, but i can't really remember this particular area of disscussion being a major problem for the community with the first game.

Also, if you look at the non-romancable companions most of them have also had a partner at some point. I think Sten is the only one who is never confirmed.

But back to the original point of this topic, i personally believe that Aveline won't be a LI. I think she'll be a bit more like Wynne and be more of a guide in your romance whilst comparing it to the relationship she had with her husband.

I hope I wasn't alluding to a desire for everyone to be virgins... no, no, no. I was simply saying that I value sex as a demonstration of something more than 'lust.' If the appropriate value is placed on sex than I have no problem with my companions (IRL or in game) to have had multiple sexual encounters previously. I will not have sex with someone unless I love them, and I am willing to accept the ramifications of that decision. (i.e. children) I would like my partner to mirror my own beliefs in this area... This translates into my experiences in gaming as well....

whjat appeals to me when it comes to Isabela are the psychological and emotional ramifications of her romance pattern. BTW her facial structure was modified since the destiny trailer. The fact she is portrayed as a "tramp" as you put it actually enhances those possible patterns I was speaking of, or mayve I am just letting the "kiss" scene from the CG trailer pull at some of my personal strings

How do you have such insight into the amount of effort it takes for me to use words you allocate as being beyond my vocabulary? It's not a battle to see who can be more presumptuous here pal, I was simply illustraing a point; Don't presume to know something that you clearly....do not...

Isabella is known to have had group sex with the Warden, Leliana, Zevran, and Alistair in some game worlds, at the same time. So in some realities, at least, she is very much a tramp. ;P Maybe she was first turned out by the Warden, but I doubt it. ;P

hehe in Isabela's case I am actually glad she had a promiscuous history......

unlike Lira of course who had that "forbidden" flavor to her romance being a virgin and all
