Hello there, I've been told by some people that i should have a file named masseffect2.exe in the binaries folder, but the binaries folder is completely empty, I don't have any issues playing it though, but I'm worried it will have any future consequences.

I have 16 files in the binaries folder, 14 of which are dll files. Are you sure you're in the right folder and that the files aren't simply hidden? You shouldn't be able to run the game at all if this folder is empty.

Yes, I'm sure, BioWare > Mass Effect 2 > Binaries >Empty. I tried activating "Show hidden files and folder" but it's still emtpy, as I said, I have no trouble playing it at all, I've played through it twice.

Are you sure you're not looking at the BioWare map in My Documents? I have an empty Binaries folder there. Binaries in the installation folder does have MassEffect2.exe.

Yes, actually, that is where I'm looking, I thought that was the right one since I can't find my installation folder, guess I should've paid more attention during the installation process :P

Actually, I found it now. After searching a bit I noticed that I forgot the obvious location for it ^^
