If ME3 has some sort of percentage system where you get the squad members you used the most back. I will get Garrus, Zaeed and Grunt for sure, but I would also like to see tali, Mordin and Legion return because I like them. The rest I could leave on some random planet and not feel bad about.

Nice distintion between "take / talk to"

But Miranda worthless ?
If you play on Insanity, a very important part of your strategy is how you strip defenses. She has powers to strip any defense present in the game. She can detonate warp bombs. She buffs your squad. She buffs weapons. How is that worhless ?

I like all the characters in both Mass Effect games, but Garrus remains my most favoritest though.  Followed by Kaidan, Tali, Legion and Samara.

Except for Morinth who creeps the hell out of me and will never set foot on the SR2 in my games.

The humor of Legion's statements just get me every time. You might say, he doesn't have humor, he's a robot! No, if you listen to the way he talks to Shepard, he gets his ****s and giggles from messing with him. "Are you spying on me, or organics" Legion responds "Yes." this obviously annoys Shepard. We have reached a consensus, Legion is awesome. They picked the right person for Joker. Seth Green is just funny like that.

On the other hand, I hate Miranda. Just, hate. And Jack.

Most liked to least liked Top Ten Power Rankings.  All purposes, so includes convos, whether I take them on missions, whether I find them totally uninteresting, etc., etc.

1. Liara
LotSB moved her up several spaces on this list, both due to the gameplay and the conversations.
2. Garrus
Calibrations aside, his dialogue is pretty good ("Antique stores, but only if they're classy."), and I love his sniping/overload combination.  I also like the mentorship relation he has with Shep.
3. Mordin
Best ME2 squadmate in terms of dialogue.  Slightly less fun in terms of gameplay, especially on Insanity.
4. Tali
I'm a partially rehabilitated Talimancer.  Only partially.  As far as gameplay goes, the GPS makes her pretty fun, and Area Drain basically makes all geth missions trivial.
5. Thane
Not so much a fan of his conversations, although the Hobbes mention was cool.  Sniping/warp is great fun at parties, though.  Dunno why you'd go on any Collector mission without him.
6. Legion
He's friggin' Legion.  He'd be even higher if you got him any earlier in the game.
7. Wrex
Shepard.
8. Kasumi
Too bad she doesn't have a dialogue wheel.  And that Shadow Strike is kinda buggy.  Overload/Shadow Strike/Flashbang, plus an SMG, make her one of the ultimate debuffers - as good as Miri, IMO, and her intangibles are infinitely better.
9. Grunt
I just love his "Ha, ha, ha." in combat.  It's one of the most satisfyingly evil sounds in the game.
10. Miranda
Would've been higher than this if not for the infamous potatoface.
