I am playing the campaign Legacy of White Plume Mountain, hosting a server on Gamespy so my brother and I can play from 75 miles away. He logs into my server. We started the campaign and used the party editor built-in to create a party of 6, two PCs (myself and my brother), and 4 companions I created that will be AI run as much as possible. Problem is all our gold is pooled. When I take my main PC and go to buy stuff, everyone in party I control (myself and 5 companions I created using the party editor) looses gold, as if we all have a common gold pool. Why is this? My brother does not gain or loose the gold it seems, only my PC and all the companions currently under my control since I have party leadership (the star). Each of us should have our own gold, and purchasing something should only deduct gold from each PCs/companion's gold supply. When I use the console command dm_givegold, it gives(or removes) gold from everyone, not just from the currently selected(right-clicked) character. Any ideas? Probably not
but I thought i'd ask anyway

You're playing with the SoZ party approach built into LoWPM... I'm pretty sure it's working the way it's supposed to.

So do you think if i just import pre made characters into LoWPM rather than using the party editor built into it, I could avoid this problem? Basically I am forced to use dm_givegold cause we all share a common gold pool and i am unable to manage gold  for one character at a time. Something is wrong here i don't know what though.

I think that gold is pooled by PC. You have one PC. Your brother has another. So you each have your own gold supply. Everyone else in the party belongs to one of the PC's and shares gold with the PC that owns them. I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Just think of them all as communists.
