Poll here.
At this time what is the planned alignment , gender and class of the Hawke you intended to be your main and/or first character? I know there is no real 'alignment' in Dragon Age and everyone has their own opinions.... so use your best judgment. Feel free to discuss they whys and whatfors.
POLL: What will be your Main and/or first Hawke's 'alignment' gender and class?

I'll have to wait and see how the story develops early on before I know what my alignment will be, but I plan to play a male rogue first.

Er.. Well I play naturally so I'll probably be a neutral male mage since I like doing good things but I have a tendency to get greedy and power hungry at times.

Neutral because thats what I tend to be, male because I am male, and warrior because its usually a solid choice for learning mechanics.

My Hawke is going to be a selfish SOB. He will rise to power over the corpses of anyone who wronged him. More a crime lord than a champion.
Oh, and male warrior.

What I'd do in real life.
Sarcastic **** and pragmatic with good intentions.

My characters are always good, but they express it in different ways. My main character in DA 2 seriously thought about saving the anvil of the void. Even if some people suffered horribly for it, both the regular dwarves and casteless would be better off. Then Wynne said it was blood magic and that tipped the scale.

Neutral warrior. I'm not sure on the gender yet, I'll probably play it through as both.

Good male Warrior.
Only because the Warden I'll be importing was an 'evil' rogue and I believe it's appropriate to have Hawke be significantly different to whatever warden I import.

"Good" is boring

I had intended to be the no nonsense female tank type that I rather drag from game to game, but as this role seems to be taken by a particular party member, I find myself not knowing. I'll probably roll a die.

Good Male Warrior. I always have a hard time picking a class so that could change.

Male, either Lawful Good Mage or Chaotic Evil Mage. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Good or true neutral male mage. Have to play the game to fully decide. It depends on the moral choices available.
Second playthrough would probably be chaotic neutral female warrior or lawful evil female warrior.

Neutral Male Mage, with good tendencies. Probably not interested in becoming Champion or gaining power initially.

I'd say "Neutral" Male Warrior, if only because my character's motivation is solely the defense of Kirkwall. He's not going to be a bully, violent, callous or manipulative needlessly, but like Loghain for Ferelden, anything goes when it comes to keeping Kirkwall safe from its enemies.

Going to play a male rogue first. As far as alignment, I intend to play him as a generally nice guy who's main goal is keeping his family together and building a new life in Kirkwall. Though story considerations I'm currently unaware of may change that.

My choice is usually based upon the the makeup of class/abilities of the party itself. From what has been shown so far, I will be playing a male mage in my first run.

Good female mage. I thought I switch it up a bit for my first playthrough. Normally, I'd play rogue first, but I loved playing as a mage so much in DAO. I'm interested in the the differences, especially now that we can bash heads with our staffs instead of just going 'pew-pew-pew'.

Good female mage. I say good, but it varies a little bit with the situation, sometimes moving towards neutrality, but almost never evil. I find it extremely difficult to play evil characters, but since the PC is voiced, I may find it easier to separate myself from the character and try it out. That is, as long as Hawke doesn't act like a complete thug. I HATE that!!! Evil does not necessarily mean thug. I can be evil and intelligent too.

My characters usually end up falling in the more 'neutral good' territory. But I don't know how DA2 will play out so I can't say I'll end up with that same kind of character. But a female mage first, for sure.

Good male rouge named Mike from an imported file where a female mage warden is the hero of Ferelden and Loghain sacrificed himself to slay the archdemon.

I will be a Good Male Warrior, it hard to be evil for me. Unless, I'm forced too for an achievement like in Fallout 3.
