Male rogue - alignment TBD, but my early inclinations are to make him an antisocial sort...not necessarily evil with a capital E, though.

How would you go about roleplaying as an antisocial person? Not talking to anyone unless it pertains to the main quest? No exploring dialogue with your party members?

My main will be a chaotic neutral female rogue. She could be categorized more along the evil side but she is pretty much like Jack Sparrow. Doing whatever benefits her the most.

Antisocial in the clinical sense, not the layman's sense. And the underlying trait of an antisocial personality would be: defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual as "...a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood."[1]

Hope that helps.

Oh you mean a ***-hole. I got ya.

Wow, I'm sorta surprised by how many votes female rogue got.  I wonder how much tight leather armor has to do with that.  I'd like to think not much, but you really never know.

Neutral evil male mage. Wants power, wealth, etc, and does not particularly care about who suffers to get it.

With the exception of all the good alignments, the leader's the Evil Female Mage, while the other Evil Females have 1 and 0 votes. I guess people really like the idea of the Wicked Witch of Kirkwall?

Well we've only had 110 votes so far, bound to be a few anomalies at this stage especially considering that there are 18 options which really splits the votes. I was initially just going to go with the good/evil dichotomy and have 12 but figured there would be way too much ****ing if I didn't at least offer neutral along with it.

That said I did notice Female Mage was the current leader for the 'evils' which is interesting.

First play through...

Good Male Mage with a rapier wit. It just really isn't in me to play anything but a good person.

Surprised that people are not commonly bringing up the personality they'll play.

Goody two-shoes Male Mage who has a hidden sense of humour, selfless and always acting for the greater good. Not scared to do something morally questionable if it achieves this greater good.

Maybe at some point, depending if it works well with the new dialogue system:

Selfish Male Rogue who has no problem manipulating others to benefit himself. Keeps his cards close to his chest and almost always has a grand plan.

My male warrior hawke will bad-ass it in my first runthrough...though I will be mostly a good guy, especially if their is an "urn of sacred ashes" situation in this game as their was in origins...some of those decisions in origins were rather gut-wrenching and alot of I reloaded my save if only to just get the trophy( and spec in that case) and continue on as if I were the good-guy all the way through...with the exception of the DR with morrigan and marrying anora thing which my male nobles did EVERY single time....

Good Female Warrior, I found playing evil in DA:O to be really hard which wasnt the case with playing renegade in mass effect.

For the first time ever i'll also play the default character, she just looks perfect for a 2 handed warrior.

Female Neutral Mage

I rarely play purely good characters anymore, as I find being a stick-in-the-mud goodie-goodie makes me miss out on some of the best moments in a game. Playing a tool is not up my alley either. Neutral lets my character act heroic, while still being a bit of a jerk when I want her to be. ^_^
