Chaotic good female dual-wielding rogue, imported from the save of my goody-two-shoes female elven mage who made the ultimate sacrifice in DA:O.

Well for the first run though I'll play as a male mage, that probably has a nutral/good alleinment, but it really depends on what the plot of the game is, if helping out the Chantry/Kirkwall's Templars over mages is seen as being good, I might actully end up playing evil.....which will be odd because I usually can't play a BioWare game as a evil character, I donno why....

But not evil as in running around setting innocent people on fire with a captial, in bold, E, but maybe just one or two Templars Image IPB

I guess my first playthrough will be a neutral two handed male Warrior with a custom face of course... and I'll make decisions on the go with no morality alignment at all (just the choices I'd make if really faced with such situations).

On my first playthrough I'll be good female rogue or warrior, I'm not sure yet which one. What I do know is that I'll always be good, I can't be evil. I just can't, makes me feel so bad.

On my first PT, I'll probably be the good guy. On my second playthrough evil, and finally, on my third and last PT, I'll follow the neutral path. Kind of the same I did in DA:O

Male Mage / Male Warrior / Male Rogue.

Probably my real personality an apathetic, cheeky, snarky and sarcastic realist. Also I'll likely end up being Chaotic Neutral.

Huh. Basing on what people I want to get to know first as my companions, I'll roll with a mage. Female, seeing as I don't often play male characters. As for her personality, most of my characters fall into 'chaotic neutral' category.

Haven't decided on gender, and likely won't until I hear more of both voices.

Debating between a blood mage and a two-handed warrior, though mage is winning as I played a warrior (S&S) as my Warden.

Alignment - well, not evil, but definitely ruthless and selfish. My Hawke will love his/her family, and want to protect them at any cost, which I have a feeling might mean having a rather unfavorable view of the Chantry. I want to do this in part to differentiate from my Warden, who was a little bit of a goody-two-shoes to be honest.

This is pretty much my exact answer. Hahah. The only difference is that my elven mage was Dalish. :)

Two handed male warrior bat sh*t insane and flying high on lyrium, he can hear the maker whispering to him and has a deep disturbing relationship with his axe "woundwolf", i'm hoping bioware give us some scars as I want Aeschylus Hawke to be hideously scarred and massively ugly with the manners of a rampant swine.

Good Male Mage. I'm going to keep my story arc of the 'Benevolent Mages' going. The way I see it when the world thinks that mages are power hungry evil being the only way to change opinion and give future mages a better life is to be kind and to give up power once it is no longer needed.

My Warden mage became a comander but then once the war was over he released his power. If Hawk has a similar chance than he'll do the same.

I'll be trying a male chaotic good S/S warrior with a custom face that looks more like myself. I probably use a save import from one of my elven characters as the hero of Ferelden. I don't know why but I like the idea of an elf being the hero of Ferelden.

Female rogue or mage haven't decided which yet. Most likely will go around saving every cat on trees and stuff -_-"

Neutral female rogue, if possible I'd like her to be a bit on the sarcastic side. :D

I always play characters resembling myself in the first playthrough. :s

I always play as a mage first, but somehow always seem to end up playing as a rogue and liking it more later. I'm going to do everything I can to end the Chantry and promote elf-human equality and mage rights!

Best answer so far...

Viscount of Kirkwall: Champion, help us! The Qunari are attacking!

Aeschylus Hawke: Maker says I shouldn't help you. He says you insulted Woundwolf. Don't worry Axy, I love you no matter what anyone else says.

[Qunari kill the Viscount]

Cassandra: That's the Champion? That's the guy who's supposed to save Thedas?

Varric: I know! Maybe you should just have looked for the Hero of Ferelden instead.

I'd really like to play a good character, but if Fenris is romanceable, I'll end up as an evil male mage. Again.

Male. Mage. The sort of mage who can be knocked over by a moderate gust of wind, if possible.

Beyond that I suspect it'll be more Bioware's character than mine, so I'll let them tell the tale.

I see it more like this Sith Grey Warden:

The booming of the qunari battering rams had finally faded and a strained silence gripped the viscounts palace as the qunari strode through its empty halls.

"Has the coward fled, have these bas no honour at all"

The arishok made a slashing gesture with his hand and the sten fell silent in shame.

A slight sounds was echoing from ahead, barely audible but steady and deep.

With another gesture the arishok sent his men darting forwards while he strode seemingly alone towards the great double doors of the throne room and the strange sound. He paused a frown creasing his horned brow, it was laughter, had marlowe dumar gone mad?

Shaking his head the great qunari pulled forth his weapons and with a passage of the qun on his lips burst into the throne room with his chosen men to witness a horror beyond his imaginings, what had the unbelievers done in this place.

Everywhere twisted, defiled and butchered bodies of the viscounts court and bodyguard lay festering ripe with rot and disease and among them mages frolicked chanting obscene invocations while wolfish beggars and brigands rifled through the gore intent on finding any trinket or heirloom worth more than a few coppers.

Aeschylus fell silent and turned from the viscounts desecrated corpse, frowning at the interruption to his and woundwulfs feasting.

"Subhuman", he grated. "You have disturbed the makers work".

Neutral female mage here.

Neutral because I think playing the pragmatist here will be fun. Mage because I get the feeling the whole Apostate thing is going to be a big deal, and I'd rather see it first-hand than through Bethany. And female because I like to play Barbie. :P
