Warrior - 2H weapons
Generally a good guy I guess.

class- Dual Wielding Rogue (I like acrobatic physical fighters in rpg games, plus rogues are also good diplomats)
Demeanor- Leaning towards sarcastic though diplomatic is also cool. I generally play persuasive characters who clear more conflicts with words than with weapons
Alignment- Going for a more neutral or chaotic neutral type that goes more good than evil
Romance- Fenris (I strongly believe he will be a romance option), if not then Isabela or whoever else is available (not Varric though...ick)
Import- Male City Elf Warden dual wielding rogue, romanced Zevran, sided with the Templars (accidentally), Loghain sacrificed himself, generally more of a neutral character with good tendencies
I'm going to have multiple playthroughs though, but this is basically my concept for my first

But have no trouble stealing, or killing for money.
On a side-note.
I really liked the 'Crime Wave' and 'The Trial of Crows' quests.
I hope we get something like that again.
EDIT: The import I will use is either my Human Noble Rogue or my Dalish Elf Rogue.

My Hawke is going to be a selfish SOB. He will rise to power over the corpses of anyone who wronged him. More a crime lord than a champion.
Oh, and male warrior.
in Origins, I killed that elf guy who tried to assassinate me right off. I left Sten in his cage. Even though I was a dwarf noble, I put my brother Bhelen on the throne bc i metagamed and thought about the trade routes for da2. I kept the Anvil, and also kept the werewolves werewolves, essentially killing the Dalish elf clan. Alistair killed Loghain and ruled alone. Morrigan had baby and helped me w/ staying alive.
Edit: I ran through first playthrough in Origins with the mage so I could unlock all of the specializations not really caring about what happened story-wise. I will prob do the same with DA2, I guess. I like using magic but don't like getting my *ss handed to me by a bunch of rogues ganging up on me.
For DA2, I plan on using a (better) archer rogue for my real playthrough. Not sure about "saving the world" or "ruling the world" yet.

male because im male, warrior because i always think of a sword guy as being nice for some reason, and good because i always feel bad if im evil the first time i play a bioware game and it makes it a lot more satisfying when im pure evil next time through

The only thing that really peaked by interest was that male and female are virtually dead even when it comes to our main characters. I expected it to be relatively high compared to other games but still.

All of my Hawkes will be "anti-heros," ruthless on the battlefield, wielding "dark powers." So my mage Hawke will be a Blood Mage, my warrior will be a Reaver/Berserker ( or some kind of "dark knight" ), and my rogue will be a Shadow/Assassin.
However, their moral alignment will be good. They will help others in need and protect the innocent, but they won't hesitate to use force to defend what they believe in...........

I find the "Qunari" gender "biases" interesting (after 365 votes) despite the even split between male and female characters:
Male Warrior - 86
Male Rogue - 36
Male Mage - 61
Female Warrior - 39
Female Rogue - 63
Female Mage - 80
Females are most likely to be mages and least likely to be warriors, while males are most likely to be warriors and least likely to be rogues.
Kind of reminds me of Santana's song "She's a black magic woman".
I wonder if male players tended to vote differently than female players?

I've always played a good female warrior Cousland, and decided it was time for a change. My last few playthroughs, I've noticed that while controlling Morrigan or Wynne, I can do a lot of damage without putting myself in direct danger.
So fem!mage it is!

They probably do, but trying to sort that out would just be a PITA! The differences between classes for male and female characters is interesting but not an outcome I'm surprised by. I'm sure there is a whole host of reason for that from simple preference, social influences, sibling survival desires etc. I kinda wanted to play a mage my first time through but the fact that the "wrong" sibling will die were I to play a mage but the kibosh on that idea. Plus we are still dealing with a pretty small sample size.
