Fallout 3 doesn't even have an ending with the Broken Steel add on. How could their even be a NG+? Why would you want there to be for that kind of game? NG+ is a secondary, if not tertiary feature of any game, it's nigh meaningless. Of course you can.
I'll take you up on that offer.
You got a ps3?
Edit thanks to the guy above?
What about my survival chances without any upgrades at all on insanity? Give it to me in a percentage.
I've never played on insanity and I don't know a certain percentage but I imagine it's going to be really hard to finish the game with no upgrades. I've never heard of anyone doing an insanity run with no upgrades.
I have a PS3 but my current account has no games or trophies on it(I had to make a new one and I haven't played any games on it yet.). It's under the name Evelinessa.
I sent you a friend request.
Also to answer your question.. No you can't max all your skills. There isn't enough points for that.
Adrenaline Rush
concussive Shot - Requires Level 2 Adrenaline Rush
Disruptor Ammo
Incendiary Ammo - Requires Level 2 Disruptor Ammo
Cryo Ammo -Requires Level 2 Incendiary Ammo
Combat mastery
Those are the soldier's skills. Would I be able to max out cat least three of those?
Doesn't have to have any games. I'll add you there.
You might be able to kill it but you would have to use strategy and your squadmates powers. You're going to want squadmates with you that can strip defenses.
I'm really not the best person you should be asking about insanity. I've never played it. I just know that insanity can be really difficult even with upgrades. I read that some of the hardest fights on insanity are the collector ones though.
Yeah, you should be able to max out three.
Used my squad mates during the demo.
Miranda + Handcannon+adrenalin rush = Dead armored Krogan
I don't imagine most regular enemies get tougher than that. I expect the bosses to be harder obviously.
Three is all I need. Can I re-arrange them in NG+
With all my skills at max I should be able to handle insanity with no upgrades.

I'm sure you can re-arrange them in new game +(I'm not definite though).
During the game after you unlock the Lab you can use your resources to re-distripute your points(like if you messed up or changed your mind).
After you complete a squadmates loyalty mision you unlock their bonus power. This squadmate can now use this power whenever AND if you want to you can spend resources to have their bonus power for yourself(they get to keep theirs too). You can replace that bonus power with any other squadmates bonus power if you like another ones better. You just have to unlock that power for that squadmate and keep spending more Element Zero(resource) if you want to change powers. So that will help you on insanity.
Also, once you've gotten to rank 4 of a power(10 points) you can change that power in one of two ways. You can do the same for squadmates.

Right, but once you unlock rank 4 it will ask you right there.
Also once you finish a squadmates loyalty mission their bonus powers will be possible to choose for Shepard right away on any new playthroughs, NG+ or not.

Everything seems to be in order. I only have one concern.
Will I be able to even do NG+ without upgrading my armor and guns.
I mean, shouldn't my skill bonuses be enough to get me through on normal and insanity?
With the assistance of my squad of course.
Can someone answer this? I'm not expecting you to give me the insanity info, eve.

I'm pretty sure the weapons in the demo weren't upgraded. I got through insanity on the demo without dying once as the soldier. Didn't even get really any close calls.
I asked one other guy on /v/ and he said it was very possible. Anybody else's opinion on this?

I don't know. Later on in the game it's easier to get killed(especially on insanity) and enemies have more defenses. I don't want to talk too much about what areas are hardest since this is a no spoiler forum, but I know that a lot of people have trouble with Horizon on insanity and that's with upgrades. That area is still fairly early in the game. And there are other areas later on that are hard too.

You can't post on the other forums because the PS3 version hasn't come out yet and you need to register your game to post.
Well they might be tougher in a different way. Here's an example: The thing about Krogan is that you're pretty fine as long as you stay away from them so they don't charge you. But there is an enemy called husks (I heard that they get a lot more defenses on insanity). With husks their whole thing is they come in groups and swarm you. They don't have weapons so if you let them get around you then they keep meleeing you. Their hard to get away from because once they hit you, you stagger for a bit and then they keep hitting you. A good way to kill them is to use Shockwave(biotic power) but I heard that because of their defenses you can't use it unless you strip them first. And because they surround you it would be hard to get all their defenses down and kill them in time. So those are harder then a Krogan in an easier to kill you way. If you had some defense/shield and weapon upgrades it would be easier.
And I think that Collectors, Scions, and Praetorians are harder then Krogans.

He was total ass at the game though. Don't know what a Scion or Praetorian is.
As for the husk... Aren't they those creepy zombies? Considering I would I have max skills I could abuse the soldier's adrenaline rush+shot gun? Do they take long to kill?
Really what I wanted to know was how do the enemies defenses later in the game stack up to Krogans?
Are they still the most heavily armored enemy? Second only to that huge mech which I don't consider a regular enemy. lol

After that I had Jacob use pull then I use my AR and got in close for a shotgun kill.
If it was far enough I away I warped him, then gave him 2-3 shots to the head.
If I came across a enemy that was too tough couldn't I just whip out the cain? What's the AOE on that thing?

I can't really remember right now but depending on the type of collector they have different defenses.
They're enemies you fight later in the game. The praetorian you only fight twice though. They take longer to kill and can easily get you knocked out of cover. It's really easy to be killed by them.
Yeah. On insanity they will take long to kill. A tip is for you to send your squadmates to cover in front and for you to run and take cover in the back. The husks will attack whoever's closest to them but sometimes they will run right past your squadmates and head for you.
Not all of the enemies but some have more defenses then Krogans. I'm not sure if they are the most heavily armored or not. There are still several levels where you fight that mech though and one loyalty mission where you fight two at once. And be careful with killing them with a headshot because it will cause a big explosion.
On normal you should be fine.
The AOE of the Cain is huge but you can only fire it if you have 100% ammo, so you can fire it once but then you're going to need more ammo. The ammo for heavy weapons is rare.

The exploding mechs are the hardest mech. Well I was using an almost fully upgraded sniper rifle with disrupter ammo(the best ammo to use against mechs) and it still took me about 8 shots(I can't remember if I was using Overload too but it was barely hurting it) to strip it's first defense(IIRC the mechs have three defenses: Shields, Armor, and Health). This was only on normal dificulty so insanity would take even longer. And sniper rifles are one of the more powerful weapons.
I never really bothered to use the Cain since I didn't need it but I'm sure it will one shot them. I don't know how much ammo it uses but I think when you pull the weapon out it will tell you if you have 100% ammo or not.
I really don't know how much damage you will do since I'm not going to attempt insanity until a few more playthroughs.
