Sorry if this isn't the right place to put this but when I bought it for 800 microsoft points I was expecting it to last longer than 1-2 hours :/

Unless i'm missing something....

Once you've played the Normandy scene with Liara, the DLC is practically finished. However, you should check back often with the base.

I played it on insanity and it took me about four hours or so. I didn't skip any dialogue and I thik I spent something like an hour watching/reading all that stuff in Shadow Broker's base.

You're right OP, it should have been 95 hours MINIMUM featured 16 new fully fleshed out worlds, 23 weapons, 20 armors, 5 new characters, a fully interactive dance and party sequence WITH mini games and a 3 hour documentary.

We know it's just DLC brah. But come on... 1-2 hours? That's just way too short especially with the 800 MSP price tag.

In my opinion the overall quality and content of LotSB compensated its length. It was one thick package and well worth its price compared to some MW2 map packs.

Well you got ~2 hours of gameplay and another hour or so of going through the Shadow Broker's files. I see no problem. What the guy above me said to. Quality > Quantity.

I paid €50 for Mass Effect 2, which took me 25 hours to beat on my first playthrough. That's €2 for an hour of gameplay. LotSB cost me €6.97 for approximately 2 hours of gameplay, which is €3.48 for one hour. Either the DLC was too expensive or not long enough.

Actually if you count the time you spend returning to it to

i) Collect minerals

ii) Check your investments (complete all at the fourth visit i think)

iii) Check the videos

It can get somewhat long. Reading the dossiers on the first go took me about 20 mins.

On reruns, this is much lower.

I know quality > quantity and that's why I thought LOTSB was still worth it. But it's still kind of ridiculous that it has such a short length. They could have at least tried to extend it a bit more.

I was more than satisfied with LotSB's content...ecstatic, in fact. I'd rather play two hours of excellent content over six hours of mediocrity.

The size of the level was fine but I felt if they added another scene or two it would've been excellent for story length it also would've given it all the pacing this type of story needed. Though I have to say compared to ME2 SB has been the best part of the whole game!

Yeah, how dare Bioware actually make every moment of those two hours fun. It should be triple that time with longer empty hallways to run down and planets to probe as part of the mission. And they should disable the running ability, it speeds up the game too much.

Of course it was too short, but I enjoyed every second of it.Like already said,I'd always choose quality over quantity(length actually)

I think it was of good length, at least I liked it more than any DLC for ME games.

As about length... well, I can't think of any DLC that are long? If anyone can correct me, then please do so, so that I'll have something to consider.

Of course it was too short. Most dlc is too small for the price you pay.

Nah. It was the perfect length for a DLC for this type of game, although I wouldn't have minded if it was a little longer. Still, quality was so good that I didn't really mind.

Took me 2-3 hours on insanity. Yeah it was on the short side, but like others have said, for me, the mission content itself more than made up for it. I personally felt it was better than a lot of ME2s main missions.

With Mass effect dlc, I just dont play it once. Never. At the very least I play it four times. Least being the key word here.

Exactly... besides this and the point raised earlier of quality > quantity, from all the reports I've read of LotSB I am extremely looking forward to playing it when I get PS3 version of ME2 (and eventually get the DLC for PC once I've got new PC).

Here is a question, do the people who talk of LotSB being short ever go see a movie at the cinema? If you do, I wonder if you complain that you have to pay the same price for a movie that lasts about 90-100 minutes in comparison to one that lasts 2-3 hours? No? So why complain about LotSB being short?
