LotSB was about the right length for me. Then again, I only paid 200 MSP ($2.50) for it.

It was long enough I suppose, especially when I compare it with the other missions. And may be one of the best DLC for the ME2. Even in www.pcmania.bg, the electronic magazine, we - the bulgarian fans voted that "Lair of the Shadow Broker" it is the best DLC for the 2010.

LotSB took me almost 4 hours and the quality was well worth the price.

How in the world did you stretch it out to 4 hours?

I literally had to stetch it out to 2 hours, but 4?

Well, do you intend to play it again? Even if you found it short, the replay value means that it'll extend the value for your dollar. I.E. if you only played it one time for 2 hours, I can see how you might complain. But every time you play it you increase the value. Here, I'll use what I paid for it on the PC to give you some stats:

Cost of DLC: $10
Played it once for 2 hours: $5/hour
Played it twice for 2 hours: $2.50/hour
Played it three times (2 hours first time, 1 hour each subsequent time): $2.50/hour
Played it six times at 1 hour each: $1.66/hour.

So you see, replayability greatly increases your savings.

the lenght of the DLC was fine, the quality was alot better than most DLC's the games get nowdays, while I personally dont like how the whole DLC thing has gotten into and feels kinda ripoff there aint really much you can do about it

Pretty much how I feel, except the length part.

You're right OP, it should have been 95 hours MINIMUM featured 16 new fully fleshed out worlds, 23 weapons, 20 armors, 5 new characters, a fully interactive dance and party sequence WITH mini games and a 3 hour documentary.

We know it's just DLC brah. But come on... 1-2 hours? That's just way too short especially with the 800 MSP price tag.

In my opinion the overall quality and content of LotSB compensated its length. It was one thick package and well worth its price compared to some MW2 map packs.

I hear you on that. The MW2 map packs were 1200MP and they were downright terribe. The only 2 maps out of the map packs that I like are Bailout and Trailer Park. And that's out of 10 new maps. :crying:

Back on topic, I think LotSB was well worth it. The gameplay was great, the dialogue was great, and all of the info in the SB's base was fascinating.

This thread again?

Paragon option: Well, it's a great expansion. Definitely worth the spare change searching between the sofa cushions would yield.

Renegade option: Sorry, but poor people shouldn't game if, after the fact, they feel the urgent need to start threads about how expensive it all was.

Neutral option: Uh. Ok.

Um let's see, I played it on Hardcore, I took my time and explored every nook and cranny, I listened to all the dialog, I took my time, I read all the SB dossiers, watched all the vids and wetn to the cabin scene with Liara. It took me almost four hours, just because you play faster dose not mean everyone plays the same way.

Could have been a bit longer, but I'll take it. As it has been said, quality>quantity. I loved LotSB, especially after with the dossiers and investments. Great, great DLC, even for the price.

I just played it on normal the first time and it took me about 4 hours too. I was SUPER fascinated with the dossiers....holy crap were those things a great read! That honestly made the DLC for me....and totally opened up the game in my eyes. I loved it. Yeah it was a little short, but I mean, quality will always do it for me.

For the original DLC price, and considering the value we get from ME2 at its price now or on release - yes of course it's too short.
