How do I link my old forum account with my new one? It says that all I had to do was use my old login here, but that didn't work, so I made this new account. Can I link them at all?

There isn't a lot of reason to. The link should allow you to post to ME and ME2 boards if you had ME registered, but aside from that there are currently no other benefits. It is possible to link different accounts, but I don't recall the process off the top of my head and I seem to remember that it is non-trivial.

Easily half a year ago the login system changed to no longer accept usernames. You can try logging in with the e-mail address of the old account, but BioBoards accounts were not fully migrated so unless you linked the account to your EA master account way back when (about two years ago) the e-mail address probably won't exist in the system.

The only thing that really matters is that the e-mail address of your (main) BSN account is the same as your main EA master account, and that that is the one you use in-game (DA:O, ME2, etc.).

Thanks Snoteye. I thought maybe all my old games would show up in the new system. Not that that is worth anything, I suppose, other than making me feel nice for being so loyal.

I had a friend who ended up with multiple EA accounts somehow, so I was trying to make sure that everything I had Bioware related was all hooked up an in one place so I wouldn't end up with a game registered out there by itself.
