I can't seem to figure out which forum this goes in. I am playing on a PC, and trying to do the Hammerhead (little ship). I am reading the tool tips that pop up, but none of them are doing what they are supposed to. Space bar jumps, it tells me, but when I hit the spacebar, it's just like hitting a turbo button and shoots me forward, not up. Then I get to a spot that I am supposed to collect data. It tells me "Right mouse to gather data", so I click right mouse, it zooms me in, and then does nothing. I sit inside the circle too, to make sure I am always close enough.

Are the instructions wrong? how do I actually jump and gather data if the instructions are telling me the wrong thing?

Yes, the instructions are wrong. Check in Options - Controls.
