I don't mind something like the Tower of Hanoi puzzle - just don't give me any Mass Effect style hacking mini-games. Or planet scanning. Or Jade Empire flying mini-games. Or SW: KotOR racing mini-games.



I'm not sure about Pazaak. I've played SW: KotOR several times but I haven't even tried it yet.

I liked swoop racing in KotOR. I never devoted enough time to pazaak to find it enjoyable, but I've heard others rave about it.

I'd go for more minigames provided they aren't in the vein of ME2. More puzzles would be great, too.

Edit: Also, I like your thoughts on ME2's minigames, UpsettingShorts. I hadn't thought of them like that.

Swoop racing in KOTOR sucked and I swear the computer would cheat in pazaak. No thanks!

If anything I'd say that the amount of times you had to beat the rodian on the space station to get the discount was a bit excessive.
Swoop racing in kotor was great, not so much in Kotor II with the obstacles and all that, besides there weren't enough races if I remember correctly.
The dragonfly is still the best minigame, so much better than the space fights in Kotor, besides minigames should always be optional.

I actually quite enjoyed the Arena part of Jade Empire for the reason that the protag was alone. Ditto in Oblivion.

And I want to be able to have scenes where Hawke gets trollied with his companions, instead of ME2's staple of Shepard standing alone at the bar, passing out, and being dragged to the toliets by his squaddies. (Though that was its own kind of funny)

It would work well with the narration, too.

Varric: Well, then we... celebrated.
*cut to Hawke, Varric and Isabela sitting at a table looking out of it. Hawke's face splats into the bowl of porridge in front of him.*

I hope they don't do it many. I like one- two games but when I need to open every chest It just going me mad.
