I was wonder what you all recommend for someone freshly starting off in the world of NWN2?
In WoW I generally ran melee(Rogue, Warrior, Paladin, Deathknight. Lately I've been playing a priest and shaman lately)
In Dungeons and Dragons Online I played a fighter, ranger, cleric, and paladin.(Mains being the fighter and the ranger)

In NWN2 I would like to be sneaky and deadly rogue-based class followed by making a full on heavy damage caster and a tankish character..What would you all recommend for these 3 types?

Thanks ahead of time :D

It sounds like you have plenty of experience in these games so you should have no problem playing you preferences from other games in NWN2.

I agree with the above. If you played DDO then you already have a good idea of the basic pros and cons to most NWN2 classes. I will offer some simple advice on one of your character ideas though...

Take Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep under serious consideration. It is amazing prestige class for blast focused arcane casters. I also recommend sorcerer if you want to really go overboard with nuking. Another option to consider is warlock. They actually do fairly poor damage to start, but if you have the "Storm of Zehir" expansion and a bit of cleric backup, Hellfire Warlock offers a drastic power boost. You just need to keep on eye on constitution. Once your warlock reaches level twenty-one they can pick up Eldritch Master and become a walking magical death. It is by far the most destructive pure damage caster available, but takes a long time to mature and lacks a sorcerer or wizard's extensive bag of tricks.

For SoZ, you should have one character with plenty of skills for the Overland Map. Rogue or Ranger are good choices, though other classes can work too (Monk for example).
