I hadn't played DA:O for several months but when I launched it today I got an error message. I logged on to social.bioware to check my account and found that there are no games registered against my account. My Bioware points have also disappeared. So have my screenshots and my avatar. 

Most of my registered game promotions are there, including the DLC but all the Collector's Edition items I got with my game have disappeared. 

All of my achievements are still there, but none of my uploaded characters. 

What on earth has happened???!!! How can I get my registrations and points back please?

I added my CD key in again and now The Edge and Memory Band no longer show up. I got these as promotional items for pre-ordering then registering my game initially. I assume that having to add the registration key back in has negated these.

EA reinstated my promo items but could not reinstate my Bioware points. That issue has been escalated. They were unable to explain why my game got unregistered from my social.bioware profile. I see on the PC tech support forums that I am not the only one that has had this problem. I really hope it doesn't happen again.



I prefer the days when we just bought our games & played them. This DRM nonsense doesn't stop pirating. All it does is make the gaming experience really bad news for legitimate players.

There are two entirely separate kinds of "points" that may involve a Bioware game.  The Achievment Points are not transferable to the Bioware Store or the EA store to use for purchases.  Those are a different kind of points.  There is a forum where gamers get together to discuss the pints that can be used for purchases; it isn't this forum.

Everything has been restored now so whether I should have split the two consequences of the one issue or not is moot. EA sorted everything out but didn't explain why my game became unregistered or why Bioware points I had purchased were showing on their system but not showing here (and were not available to me in-game).  Mysteries...

I am suffering the same problem, only I lost my manual (which has the key on it) so i'm sol. Also, for some reason I get an error message whenever I click the support tab.

I just went back now that I have time to finish da:o before 2 comes out and all my stuff is gone. Wonderful.

Did you have to repurchase anything or did they restore it all, and how long did it take?

ive just updated to windows 7, come onto the social area and found that my games are no longer registered. I tried putting them back in, getting the message "Code is not valid for game" in return. I checked and double checked that it was the right game and console that i was registering for so that I could get access to the downloadable content that I bought. Who do I need to ask regarding this matter, to be resolved? Thanks

I have an issue where when i enter the game and  i am able to log on (states bottom left coner logged in) but my points does not update, my content does not show and all my previous content is gone, i bought witching hour and got the confirm email yet my content is not there, my games were also unregistered when i came back after along break from doa, i have tried everything from the content service to reinstalling to registering my games to no avail, i bought DoA II but will not redeem my collectors edd promo codes until this issue has been sorted, Tabak what route did you take to get your issues sorted?
