Paranoia. I don't recall Sten ever looking like just a black guy, IIRC his hair was different in that trailer, but no other major differences.

Presumably she's supposed to have whatever skin she is shown to have, considering they completely redesigned her for DA2 already. I don't see anything to set this descriptor in stone.

Well it could just be nationality and not ethnicity, or it could be like the qunari, who were described as bronze-skinned giants but who can now also be grey-skinned.
I guess it's irrelevant because she is still dark-skinned.

The funny part is that his hair is the only thing they got right.
I am also not able to find evidence of a person being able to cornrow their beard if it's that short. I am forced to believe this is a qunari power, or he has a family of white tent caterpillars sucking off of the blood on his chin.

It's true the differences between the various screenshots and trailers are quite confusing, but all in all, I think she has a Latin/mideastern vibe.
She might be a bit darker or the same or a bit lighter. I wouldn't mind if she were darker skinned.

Was she Rivani in DAO? Because her skin didn't look too dark in the Pearl. Unless it was the same lighting that made her look like a red-head.

I remember that thread - or one very like it. I'm sure if I searched all 40 or whatever pages that is, I'd find a post of mine expressing my incredulity with the statement that they're the same woman.
I still feel that way, but I've stopped letting it bother me.

Do not let lighting confuse you about skin tone. Isabella has the correct skin tone for a human from her part of Thedas who has spent a lot of time aboard ships in the sun.

I'm just referring to the image in the first post supporting the notion that she does indeed have a similar skin tone without the Pearl's lighting, regardless of how different she looks otherwise.
