I fear the fix is having no effect. Or at least no option is showing up to dismiss Mu'tasin.kamal_ wrote...
Quixal: I've seen some other reports of that, and had changed the order of the scripts handling the dismissing to match what they are for other companions (and what they are for companions in other people's mods). Not sure, I'll see about writing you up a convo with the guard captain to dismiss him.
edit: try this Quixal, put it in the campaign folder and talk to your guard captain by the Ekkathys entry dl.dropbox.com/u/3879894/ek_guardcaptain.DLG

I thought I PM'd you his story? No?
Edit: I checked your PMs (searching the word "tan"), but didn't see anything related.

I am aware. He is the same npc you put the Tortured King fix on the last time I was having issues. It still isn't working.kamal_ wrote...

I could not figure out how to get the sword in the sewers for tashiyka (bad spelling sorry), very frustrating, as all three chests say "this chest requires a specific key"...

Nope, the other chests are for the other path's you could have taken. Your questgiver did warn you they put some false chests in there (these are actually the chests for the other classes, but it's an ingame explanation for that which makes sense).Blue_dodo wrote...

Where's the Killer Dungeon? I don't think I've been there, and I'm getting tired of playing good and neutral aligned again...

I also wanted to ask:
Is there any estimated date for the next update? Were you able to fix the time not passing at the stronghold?
Warned or not, I'll have to try it, though you also mention Nag Hammadi as the most difficult area of the game at high levels.
I'm also curious about that "evil" item, so I'll have to see it for myself (maybe Nhor Deepforger's Deepforged Bread?

People get mad. The killer dungeon is the hardest place in PoE though.
Not checking PoE much. The stronghold timing may never get fixed, as I don't know what's wrong. I'm spending almost all my time on Crimmor now (and it's going to show...)

Shame about the stronghold. I asked just in case a new version was coming soon. I may do another playthrough soon, then, after I try a couple other modules.
I'm also looking forward to see Crimmor. It looks like you've added a lot of content lately, I'm not going to recognize the module I tested a month ago.

Firstly, I wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying PoE thus far!
However, I am experiencing two bugs I wanted to ask you about....and if these are repeats I apologize upfront; I tried to search for these topics but did not find anything on them:
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
1) Whenever I am in any other area except for Calimshan, my Journal is blank....when I go back to Calimshan, everything repopulates (including quests that I picked up in other areas).
2) I have been able to recruit a few of the Companions, but I cannot "talk to" either Carcarin or the Tortured King. Neither clicking on them or right-click-select-Talk To will trigger any conversation. Not sure if this would happen with anyone else that I have not run into yet.
BTW: I have installed v. 1.09, including the updated hak and I did have to install the updated Campaign folder to prevent NPCs from casting spells they should not know (for the purpose of full disclosure regarding possible side-effects).
SPOILERS OFF
Thank you!

While I'm not sure what, there's almost assuredly something seriously wrong with your installation. All journals are campaign level for instance, and should play anywhere, and companion conversations are campaign level resources as well. If you can talk with them where your journals work, I believe the issue is the campaign folder got put inside the Calimshan module folder (al-Qasr and Calimport Muzad are actually seperate modules)Malice12345 wrote...

I should rephrase my companion issue bug: I was able to recruit some companions (both clerics), but I cannot recruit either Carcina or the Tortured King *because* I cannot talk to them and trigger any interaction with them where I find them (al-Qasir marketplace and temple dungeon in Cloven Mountains). So, neither one is actually ever in my party when I try to initiate conversation.
The PoE Campaign files are under the Campaign folder. But, that being said, I'm sure there might be something wrong with my install regardless. I will go back and double-check everything and play around with it.
Let me know though if my clarification of my companion issue changes your diagnosis in any way.
Thanks again! Please keep on with the great work!

There was a bug with Carcarin not talking if you did certain things including not take her when you first talked. But she has a default conversation now, so that shouldn't be it. The T. King has a default convo. The main thing pointing me to an install problem is that you only get journals in Calimshan, when the journals are all campaign level.Malice12345 wrote...

Although I had the Campaign files in the Campaigns folder, while checking I realized that I had them inadvertantly buried too deep into subfolders. I just moved them all up a level and everything works fine.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Again, I am really enjoying this mod!

Before I go into the problem I've got into let me say I really like your work, alot of the areas I've seen look really great.
First I, like some others have had a problem suddenly finding myself being moved to another area unexpectedly and I think I know why. I think this is caused by my followers walking over a transition node and triggering it. A quick fix for anyone having this problem is push "V" choose "combat" on the menu and then "hold" so your followers will no longer move. Just push "V" again then "combat" and finally "attack" to get them to follow you again.
*spoilers*
My own problem is this the Ogre Mage Slaver asks for gold or a item to send you slaves for Illithids (sp?) and so I went for the item, however when I got back I found he stuck on the "Did you find my runaway slaves yet?" dialog. A quest I could not and cannot complete due to the door to where said slaves are cannot be opened. (I would guess that if you say maybe instead of yes when getting the quest the open door trigger does not fire). At any rate, is there any way to get around this or do I need to start over or just by pass it?
Thanks for your time,
Dragon Azori
