Those are the modules, and they go in the modules folder (my docs\\nwn2.)

Alright I put them in there. Is there anything else I need to do?

The other files/folders need to go into their relevant folder. I used the same organization/folder names as you should already have in your nwn2 folder.

I'm getting an issue where, no matter what I do, the Time Passed at Baranthyr stays at 0%. Looking in this and other forums, it looks like this is still an outstanding known issue and there is no in-game action I can do to fix it.

Is this the case? If so, is there something I can type into DebugMode in the console to force time to pass and thus still be able to experience this part of the game?

Thanks a lot.

Known issue. There is nothing you can do.

Can someone please post the script to dismiss the tortured king again?

I successfully worked around this issue, dismissing the tortured king via DebugMode in the console.

In the console, I typed:
DebugMode 1
rs ga_remove_comp(tking)
DebugMode 0

Sorry... I believe I've placed everything in the correct folders, but the module will not appear in game. I have placed the individual folders from the modules.7z into the modules folder as well as all the other folders into there corresponding folders... I'm not sure what I'm missing.

What do you mean "the module will not appear ingame"? Do you mean that when you select "New Campaign" from the main game menu that Path of Evil does not appear on the list?

That was the case... I think I found out what I did wrong and it's working now. Thank you

Is the stronghold time advancement problem just because the time advancement fails to trigger correctly? Or is it a problem with the way time advancement is actually executed?

If it's the former, would it be possible to put in a quick workaround, like a dialogue option or even a console command to trigger it?

It's a problem with the way time advancement is executed. Using debug to manually set and/or advance the time does not cause the things to happen which are supposed to. Which is strange, because the scripts are from Crossroad Keep, and i know they work, i put them in a demo stronghold i released on the Vault, but there it is. I don't plan on doing further work on Path of Evil, so unless someone comes back to me and says they fixed it, it's going to remain unfortunately broken.

Hope it's not too late, I'm getting some problems...

SPOILER:

1) I'm at Calimport Muzad and the "Hidden Treasure" quest doesn't complete. I've already visited the deeper sewers (couldn't find the djinni itself) and explored and looted it fully, but nothing changes in my journal. I've got the quest from the drunk at the tavern and accidentally found the treasure's location while doing the Cesai's Hybrids quest.

2) I've readed a lot of posts here about getting into Underdark, as I could understand the way to enter it is related to Calimport Muzard (most specifically to the drow who teaches some feats). I've talked to him already (and with pretty much everyone in the city) and couldn't find any convo options to get access to Underdark. How can I get there?

3) Last but not least, what's up with the Qutaybah guy? Is he envolved with some plot? I can't get a decent convo with him and all the others "named NPCs" were somehow involved in a quest. Maybe his dialogue is somehow broken?

I'm playing with a star elf (Kaedrin's PrC) / pure bard.

Can you help me?

1.  If you find the hidden chamber without talking to the drunk first, your journal should say "You have found a hidden chamber connected to the sewers." If you talk to the drunk first, it should say "You have found a hidden chamber connected to the sewers. It must be the place the drunk from the Wanton Kobold was talking about." Both of those should close the quest.
2. Your character must know that the drow can take you into the Underdark before you can ask the drow about it. Without wanting to spoil things too much, towns throughout the realms (not just in my campaign) tend to have a place where an adventurer can catch up on the latest goings on and gossip. Go there and ask around.
3. Qutaybah is involved in a quest. If you listened to the old tout when you entered the Muzad, there is a questline that involved Qutaybah. If you ignored the old tout, you would not receive the questline.

Thanks for answering so quickly!

Once again, SPOILERS:

1. I didn't found any "hidden chamber". Just the "deeper sewers" with lots of doors and a chamber with piles of gold. I'll go back there and check better the place.

2. Something so obvious as talking with the man at the bar. I'm feeling really stupid by now.

3. William Rede was supposed to give me a quest to deliver Qutaybah a "small statue", but the only quests he gave me was to convince someone to keep out of his business, deliver a letter and get some diamond dust. I've discovered about the "small statue" because I pickpocked Qutaybah and read the descripition of the item I got.

4. I'm in Underdark and seens to be a bug happening. Talabwyss Mytyl asked me to kill her former lover, Zeketh Orlyrae. Well, I already killed him, but the journal didn't updated and she keeps telling me that there I still have unfinished business with her. I've already reported about all the other quests. A convo bug or I'm just being stupid again?

By the way, I'm playing version 1.10 (from nwvault.com). It means I don't need the patch, right? Looking through the comments at NWVault, I founded one similar to mine (quote below with your answer)

sffrrrom asked:

Breaking bug, I think - in the Underdark, when you're tasked with killing the matron's former lover, it is possible to enter that house and kill everyone in it before you receive the quest. The matron will then not recognize you have killed him, and you are trapped in the city.

you answered:

Are you playing the current patch? That bug was fixed a number of patches ago. Also an alternate way of getting out of there was put in that has nothing to do with the matron.

The problem is quite the same, the difference in that I talked to the Matron before killed Zeketh (i.e. the quest was already activated). Maybe it's relevant to say that he and his guards attacked me once I entered his house, so I couldn't get the option of talking with him about the plot (wich, as long as I know, is a possible end).

Thanks, man!

Fixed.

Loaded an early Auto-Save, this time using the patch-hak available at the NWVault. I didn't used it early because it's description says that it was obsolete.

SPOILER ALERT

Anyway, with the "new" patch-hak I talked to the Matron and started the role thing again - but this time her former lovers quest was the last one. Every other quest she gave was already solved (including the one about The Tortured King). The journal updated about the guys being killed and she finally noticed that. The quest didn't showed as a complete one, however, but this don't concerns me.

Now I'm back to the deeper sewers at Muzad and can't find the "hidden chamber". I have all my party doing a fully search (wich includes Kvas with an 18 Search) for hours in every corner of the area, but nothing.

"deeper sewers" is the "hidden chamber". Your journal should have advanced when you went into the area, and should be listed in the closed journals, whether you'd talked to the drunk first or not.

While you need to have the patch hak, it has the same content as in the modules now, so the patch doesn't fix anything if you have the 1.10 version of the modules. If you had an older version of the modules, it would patch things to the 1.10 version. It's kind of hard to explain clearly. Since the patch hak is included in the "other files" download, you do not need to download the patch hak separately, which is what I mean by obsolete. Community made modules can't issue patches like official stuff can, the patch hak is a means of patching, taking advantage of the priority of hak content over content in the module.

That's odd, then. I could swear that the "old patch" saved me.

Mysteries of a Neverwinter engine. Who knows?

Anyway, hope I helped somehow reporting this and the Qutaybah issue.

Thanks, man!

SPOILERS

I'm almost giving up on the dragon hoard quest at Ekkathys. Talked with everyone in town (even commoners), explored every area (except for the impossible to unlock doors) and I still don't have a clue - what's very strange to an 18 lv bard with 39 Lore and can't discover what is that symbol the guard found.

And there's the thin key. Got it in the cemetary and don't have a clue of what to do with it.

Any help?

I don't remember that dragon hoard quest (I'm thinking about one but I don't know if it's the one you mean), but there are several of those keys that you can get in the areas around town (including the fields). Once you have all (there are three or so), talk to the smith.

Kamal can tell you better.

I don't remember the specifics but I am pretty sure your problem is that you need access to the keep. In particular, a very useful room in the keep, to get to the hoard. Keep collecting those thin keys and you are on the right track. Don't be afraid of a little breaking and entering either.

The above is correct. Remember I warned people up front that not all would be handed to the player on a silver platter like more traditional modules, and it was up to you to figure out what needs to be done. This means you need to know when to "come back later". Just because your bard has a high lore doesn't mean he can get information that no one knows.

The description of the thin keys should be a clue that something is up with them. And who has them should be another clue. Despite this being a common enough question, the non commoner townsfolk give you enough information to go on with this mystery. If you're really stumped, PM me and I will explain the logic. You'll agree it makes sense, even if you didn't realize it at first.

Hi Kamal,

I feel like a bit of a numpty but I can't find the imp anywhere. I found his nest, but I can't find the imp himself. Hemlock is beginning to think me quite the dim apprentice.
