Wait...SG! is the first show you think of when you think of Claudia Black? So sad.

I liked SG1 more than farscape but  still think Claudia Black was a weaksauce addition to the SG1 crew.

As for universe..effin amazing show, I hope they don't fall into standard SG plots anytime soon because it is great the way it is.

I'm not a fan of Cliches or Cliched Sci-Fi. I like actual Sci-Fi.

lol thanks i just think its so much more dark and realistic than sg1 i think universe is one of the best shows on tv(if not the best)

you know i think its my fave of all time too. i like the fact the episodes arent self contained. each new episode is a continuation of the story, its where sg1 and atlantis fell slightly short

i agree but the main reason i like universe so much is some characters hate each other, they fight, not follow orders sometimes ect it just seems much more realistic than say SG1 where that just didnt happen though i think vala sparked new life into the series

i liked vala too. i was bummed when the cancelled sg1 but sgu had made up for it.

Battlestar Galactica may have been the best writing for television since...  M*A*S*H...?

Yes, THIS. She was great as Aeryn Sun in Farscape but TERRIBLE as Vala Mal Doran in SG1. So bad, in fact, that I fastforwarded any time she came on screen, and skipped Vala-heavy episode. Claudia Black is NOT good as comic relief.

Sure, if you like pseudo-religious written-on-the-fly overdramatic soap opera garbage.

Honestly, the first two seasons were pretty good, but they managed to ruin it completely with all that crap about visions and destiny and God.

She was great in Farscape, and when her and Ben Browder went over to SG-1 they actually made it entertaining to watch again, as opposed to the horrors that were the mid-years of that show.

Universe is just dull. Nothing ever happens. I would prefer a weekly adventure to watching Robert Carlyle's mental breakdown every week. I can mildly stand the comic-relief fat guy. The River from Firefly stand-in woman is okay, if not bizarre enough for the look they were so obviously going for (I checked with another Firefly fan, they had to imdb whether it was Summer Glau). The guy who's in charge and changes places with the asian-american looking guy back on Earth is the only one who seems to be able to act.

Anyway, yes, when I heard Morrigan speak it made my ears happy. I checked on IMDB whether it was her, and could find no mention. But my ears knew. She's awesome. I also knew Tim Russ, but I'm sure IMDB tried to lie to me again.

Overall the voice acting for the main NPCs and party members has really blown me away. Even the bit-parts have been good when you consider the sheer scale of the game. My only complaint, really, is that all 3 of the deserters that you hunt have the exact same voice, and at least 2 of them had the same conversation choices.

The later seasons of Farscape are godly, which is rather sad... the weak episodes are so bad.

Claudia Black wasn't alone in making Farscape great, though.

In the Mage Origin story, I believe several of the voices are done by Dominic Keating (Malcom Reed - Enterprise).

I bought this game right after I finished Uncharted 2, so I recognised her voice straight away.

SGU was really exciting in the beginning, but nothing has really happened story-wise.  Last week it was some trip to Earth episode, didn't bother watching it.

SG-1 is amongst the best Sci-Fi shows.  Don't like Farscape at all.

This ^.  Whilst it builds excitement and suspense, nothing has happened yet.  Hope it's not another of those shows where they take it slow enough to spin the plot over 10+ seasons, and it gets canned in the beginning, so overall nothing has ever happened.

And how the hell did Robert Carlyle get to become chief Scientist or whatever, if he was that mentally unstable.  The fat kid college drop-out is really annoying as well.

Loved SG1, and whilst SGU is exciting, nothing has yet happened.

I've found it ironic how similar the personality of Morrigan is to whatever the name of the character in Farscape is.

I thought SGU was okay at first but I haven't bothered watching it for awhile, they just seem to be running in circles. It's like they're trying to be serious but don't have enough balls to be different enough from SG-1 to pull it off.
Farscape was okay. I just got a little sick of some of the characters and plot elements.
