hello my name is not important, what is important is that there is a **** load of glitches related to the DLC's, like the Firepower Pack were when ever you try to go into your weapons lockers it freezes when you try to change weapons on sheppard or crashes when you try to change weapons with anyone else, and the Shadow Broker, I herd there was a **** load of problems with Shadow Broker DLC and I herd that it was corrected but I highly dout it, and there are still glitches in the game even before the DLC's were ever made and glitches still there an missed " even after the releas of ME2 (PC) Patch 1.02". ME2 (PC) Patch 1.02 was too small a patch file to be a real patch file, ME1 (PC) Patch 1.03 was a big patch an what made it specia is it enabled ME1 to run without the ME1 DVD and that was something!

I'm ****ing sick an tired of constantly trying to find answers to these problems with out the option of  uninstalling software thats not causing the glitches to ME2, so pleas someone out there, please help me get bioware to make a new patch for us all "by demanding a new patch for ME2 from bioware and replying to my post topic and post topics related to this", pleas help me??? :(:crying:

The new patch will probably never happen. Anyway, my wishlist:

- Menu shortcuts
- Fix in the Garrus loyalty mission where you get all those ghosting effects
- Fix for the texture clipping on the Presidium, Tuchanka and other locations
- Fix for the Conrad bug. Though this is actually a bug in ME1 it can be fixed in ME2. If you were paragon, both paragon and renegade are flagged and in this situation the game should always follow the paragon route.
- Ability to scroll through text with a mouse wheel
- The bug on the Collector ship where squadmates would randomly disappear or die
- Squadmates walking around when you're talking to Anderson
- The bug on the Citadel where the turian doesn't scan you, which means you can't use rapid transit unless you return to your ship first.

I add some other things to Fredvdp's list (but BioWare developers never read forums):

- Double click to select in menus
- High resolution textures & cutscenes
- Fix for many misplacings (people floating 5 cm above the floor, Joker's arm floating 20 cm above the armrest, and so on)
- Fix for the awful handling of lights and shadows (but I fear they have to switch to another graphic engine to do so)
- Fix for that obnoxious audio glitch in dialogs, where spoken sentences get truncated before their end; no valid solution has been proposed in the sticky thread
- Fix for Garrus' dialog out of sync when you're recruiting him
- Fix for a glitch that occurs only in international versions of the game: people get suddenly misplaced during dialogs
- Fix for the infamous "flying Shepard" bug
- Ability to save the game when using the Hammerhead
- Tutorial dialogs should reflect player's key bindings
- Fix for another bug that occurs importing a Shepard from ME1: when you chose to save the Council, it doesn't remember your choice about human Counselor, and Miranda asks you whether it was Anderson or Udina
- Fix for whatever we have forgotten here (hahaha!)

I really wish they would have fixed that already. It's very distracting when my squadmates are doing some weird moonwalk impression.

Fixing textures is not something they could do in a simple patch. That's why Garrus in ME1 still looks awful. However, I would download severale gigabytes just to get rid of all those low-res textures.

Yes. They could make a BIG patch. Download some GB's is not such a problem, even with my poor DSL connection. We have to wait one year before ME3 comes out; so, waiting some hours to download a patch is nothing.

we should report these glitches to Bioware an EA Games, I posted a forum about the glitches in the shadow broker DLC a few months ago and it got so many replies about there glitches with shadow broker DLC that bioware finally noticed did something about it, and they said they fixed the problem with the DLC but I doubt it, but the same could be done with the ME2 (PC) Patch 1.03.

Some of you may not know this, but it costs a lot of money to make patches for games, so if we spread the word about a demand of a new patches (via this forum), we can have a lot of people Quick Reply there request for improvements in ME2 (PC) Patch 1.03 to this forum so maybe just maybe Bioware an EA Games will finally notice our problems have no choice but to give us a new patch for ME2, so spread the word about this forum and demands to Bioware an EA Games and try to get a new patch for ME2, please???

One that I don't think has been mentioned yet: hotbar crashes.

Yes please.

But then we wouldn't get all those wonderful "why isn't F finishing the mission???" threads... ;)

I know that in the case of the 360 version, this was impossible to fix because it was a problem with Mass Effect 1. Many (or all? can't remember) people simply didn't have a ME1 end-game save in which that flag was actually saved, due to that scene where you pick between them being the last one in the game.

In the case of the PC version, then, either ME1 PC had the same problem, or they deliberately made both versions the same so that ME2 PC players wouldn't miss out on the chance to change their choice. So this is either something they can't change, or something I doubt Bioware would be interested in revisiting, a deliberate choice already having been made.

Well, I knew I was forgotting something. I never managed to customize the hotbar; I have boiled down to use powers in whatever order I get them.
About the tutorial dialogs: I agree! These threads, along with those about the Hammerhead that cannot dig, are funny! :D

About those glitches when importing a Shepard from ME1: if I made all the choices there, I would want to see them being reflected in ME2, because it's the same Shepard I'm using for playing. If I create a new Shepard in ME2, then I accept making these choices here. In addition, it would be nice if I could write the entire story Shepard would have had in ME1 without tweaking the savegame with Gibbed Save Editor. (Yes, I know I'm asking too much.)

Another bug I forgot: there are too many inconsistencies between the main game and DLC's, that cause too many bugs and glitches. E. G.: the option to talk to Liara about the Shadow Broker should appear only after doing all business with her, including asking her about Thane and Samara; Legion can be used neither in LotSB nor in Overlord - but we can use Zaeed and Kasumi, who come from other DLC! Well, this is frustrating.

I just finished Mass Effect 1 today. I had all of my weapons hotkeyed.. squad menu, map, codex, journal. All at the press of a button, no need to hit ESC. I could also adjust my mouse sensivity anywhere between 0 and 100.

Now everything is just clunky.

Why? I love this series, and everytime I finish the first one and try to play the second one, it's a very painful transition. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing the older game when I play Mass Effect 2..

I agree with you ReFracture, you should demand EA Games and Bioware to build ME2 (PC) Patch 1.03!

What? The bloated overlords at EA giving the OK to spend money to fix a game which they have already taken the money from you for? Which planet are you living on?

Dont hold your breath unless you want to try and resemble an asari in colour.

that's very ****ing rude Bogsnot1 how dare you smash our hopes an dreams for a new patch, and I still say we all should demand EA Games and Bioware to build ME2 (PC) Patch 1.03, to fix all those glitches they forgot to fix in ME2 (especially those related to DLC's)!

Rude? No, sarcastic, yes. EA has proven itself to be the death of many a game franchise. I normally have great faith in Bioware, but that faith is at an all time low given EA are now the ones at the helm.

Command and Conquer, NHL, FIFA, Madden NFL, the list goes on.

sarcastic I don't do, are you sure EA GAMES has proven itself to be the death of many a game franchises, how did EA become the ones at the helm and not Bioware???

EA bought BioWare and named the owners of BioWare vice-presidents at EA. BioWare is EA's RPG department.

Yes. Very bad.
Bioware of old was known for shipping games a month or two late, but those games were normally polished until they glistened like diamonds. Nobody used to mind to much, because of how great and stable  the finished product was.
Now, they get pushed to get thegames out to meet the quarterly forecasts of their corporate overlords.
PS3 version of ME2 is probably the most outstanding example of how this line of thinking can be bad.

Yeah. I agree. ME2 needs next patch! ME2 (even v1.02) is far more buggy than ME1! (v.1.02)

So please EA/BioWare give us new patch, and finally fix (up) mentioned bugs.

Thanks in advance. :/

Is it not possible for a user-made unofficial patch to be created like one was made for DAO? I'm sure that if you'd all put your heads together this can be done.
