The new patch will probably never happen. Anyway, my wishlist:

- Menu shortcuts
- Fix in the Garrus loyalty mission where you get all those ghosting effects
- Fix for the texture clipping on the Presidium, Tuchanka and other locations
- Fix for the Conrad bug. Though this is actually a bug in ME1 it can be fixed in ME2. If you were paragon, both paragon and renegade are flagged and in this situation the game should always follow the paragon route.
- Ability to scroll through text with a mouse wheel
- The bug on the Collector ship where squadmates would randomly disappear or die
- Squadmates walking around when you're talking to Anderson
- The bug on the Citadel where the turian doesn't scan you, which means you can't use rapid transit unless you return to your ship first.

-press Esc
-agreed but it's not gamebraking and it is amusing
-agreed
-agreed
-agreed
-never happen to me
-lol, agreed
-never happen to me

I add some other things to Fredvdp's list (but BioWare developers never read forums):

- Double click to select in menus
- High resolution textures & cutscenes
- Fix for many misplacings (people floating 5 cm above the floor, Joker's arm floating 20 cm above the armrest, and so on)
- Fix for the awful handling of lights and shadows (but I fear they have to switch to another graphic engine to do so)
- Fix for that obnoxious audio glitch in dialogs, where spoken sentences get truncated before their end; no valid solution has been proposed in the sticky thread
- Fix for Garrus' dialog out of sync when you're recruiting him
- Fix for a glitch that occurs only in international versions of the game: people get suddenly misplaced during dialogs
- Fix for the infamous "flying Shepard" bug
- Ability to save the game when using the Hammerhead
- Tutorial dialogs should reflect player's key bindings
- Fix for another bug that occurs importing a Shepard from ME1: when you chose to save the Council, it doesn't remember your choice about human Counselor, and Miranda asks you whether it was Anderson or Udina
- Fix for whatever we have forgotten here (hahaha!)

-WHAT?!
-highly doubt that will ever happen
-clipping error, agreed
-never got that issue
-only happens when I use FRAPS
-that's not synced?
-wait, what?
-I never heard of that bug
-YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-agreed
-get the Gibbed save editor and put flag on it, it's ME1 bug not ME2

One that I don't think has been mentioned yet: hotbar crashes.

- ME1 had double click for selecting items in menus, lists, and so on.
- I know that; mine is only a pie in the sky.
- ...
- No, you have it. Unreal 3 engine, used by ME2, is totally incapable of handling lights and shadows correctly. Multiple shadows with multiple light sources, realistic dynamic shadows and so on. Other game engines (as the one in Fallout 3/New Vegas) can handle these little details.
- Using Fraps or not, this is a known bug, as in the sticky thread on top of the list, and no one has resolved it.
- In international versions it's not synced. I played in Italian (my mother tongue) and in French, and I noticed this glitch. This doesn't happen in English, though.
- Again, international versions of the game. For example, when Shepard speaks with the engineers on the lower level of the Normandy, engineer Donnelly gets suddenly turned back; during Thane's loyalty mission, after Kelham's interrogation, Thane jumps suddenly back a few steps when speaking with Shepard.
- Didn't you? It's notorious. It's when Shepard is approaching a low obstacle and starts climbing in the air.
- ...
- ...
- It should remember this choice. If you didn't save the Council, it remembers who you put in the new one.

-Well with ME2 system it wasn't necessary
-Though there is a guy this is making high res for squadmates and Shepard's armor
-...
-Well I kinda don't give a sh*t about graphics so I didn't noticed it
-Well it never happen to me without FRAPS so I don't know
-I play it on English since I prefer playing game on original used language and it's only foreign language I know. If original language is not English, then I use subtitles.
-^
-Oh, that one. I didn't encounter it for long time
-...
-...
-No it's still doesn't remember it. You have to edit it with Gibbed save editor and do NG+. Again, ME1 bug.

sorry, I was trying to be dramatic an fancy like sorry, thought it was nice, but this only prove that if the PS3 version of ME2 is having so much trouble, then it only proves we need a new game patch for ME2 PC version as well, I read that PS3 version is getting a new game patch but what about us, we been needing a new game patch for nearly a year!?!

I think corrupt saves is bigger issue then clipping errors and Conrad.

"I think corrupt saves is bigger issue then clipping errors and Conrad" Say what, say again, I don't get it, who's Conrad???:?:unsure::crying:

When can a patch be made for the New Game + mode in Mass Effect 2 for PC? Nobody on these forums has been able to fully carry over what they were supposed from their previous game. The PC version doesn't allow you to carry over anything, besides bonus resources and credits. Your armor stays the same from your final actions in your previous game. The only other occasional problems I have seen (when I last played ME2) are lip syncing and audio-dropouts!

I just herd rumors about a new DLC for ME2, and now it is confirmed that there is a new DLC called "Arrival" it's coming out THIS TUESDAY would you believe it, but what about a new game patch for ME2 to prevent glitches from stopping us from playing it (just like the ones that stopped us from playing L.O.T.S.B. huh!)!<_<

But PC version is better even with some bugs ;-)
P.S. BioWare please make new patch (1.03?) for ME2 (with Arrival DLC?) The patches came out for the console version too ...and not without reason :o

THeir is one problem that's really bugging me Their is on emission where I saved the drugged scientiest's back in Mass Effect 1 where the Terrorist's drugged them but for some reason in ME 2 it says certa foundation is expected to close at the end of the physical year because it never recovered due to a terrorist attack.

I looked at Mass Effect wiki and discovered this is a problem that occurs with a lot of Mass Effect players for PC and according to the Wiki they are still waiting for a patch to fix the problem. The bug is very obvious to those players but they keep asking why has it not been fixed yet.

That only happens if you didnt actully go out with a "team". (Ex. Shadow Broker, when you have Liara)

The Arrival DLC just came out today, AND there is still no new patch, my problem started with the firepower pack and the LOTSB DLC, the LOTSB DLC is not compatible with Polish, Czech or Hungarian versions of Mass Effect 2, and the Arrival is also not compatible with Polish, Czech or Hungarian versions of Mass Effect (does anyone see a repeating pattern here), this "not compatible with Polish, Czech or Hungarian versions of Mass Effect 2" is obviously the source of the major glitch thats not letting me play ME2!

when I bot my new video card, I reformatted my all four of my hard drives clean, I checked and triple checked that everything is fine, installed and tested all my game that work on my computer, and even all of this and I still can't get ME2 to work with it's DLC's, WE NEED A NEW PATCH FOR ME2!!!

@FortKavanagh -> I had ME 2 V1.00 installed when playing Arrival an LOTSB, no problems at all, I patch the game after Arrival, still no problems

I have also found a bug in my game. I have upgraded my H2/O2 cells, but the ship schema (where normal your galaxy map is) says that I have upgraded my sensors. looks strange

The options menu on the PC version needs to allow specifying a folder for the saves instead of assuming everyone wants to keep them in the default location. Most games that don't have this option in-game at least have easily edited ini files where the save path can be altered.
