Currently, whenever I attempt to buy Bioware Points (in this case the 800 points for the Shadow Broker mission), I get the following message when I try to complete the purchase: "An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later."

I suppose the blatanlty obvious solution would be to wait and try again later, but I'd like to see if there is an alternative solution to solving this issue. I'm using a prepaid visa which I'm sure has enough money on it to complete the purchase.

Gift cards (or 'prepaid' if you prefer) seem to have a not-so-great dependability on most purchases in my experience. I would suggest you (like it said) try again later...if it still doesn't work, you could try a few different other options. One, try going to your local gamestore - they should have an EA card worth $20...you should be able to buy this with the prepaid card (assuming it has $20 on it) and then use the EA card to redeem $20 worth of Bioware Points (1600). Two, you could try going through the EA Store directly...they should have an option to buy 800 (or $10 worth of) Bioware Points. If none of this is helpful and you need to use the prepaid card, I'd suggest contacting EA Support (pref. live chat) for further assistance.

Same problem here..... also prepaid visa. Definitely enough money on mine too..... its frustrating.

WATCH IT GUYS!! When you get this error, don't retry until you check you current point currency as its bugged. I too have this problem, but i have noticed that even though i get the error msg, i still buy the points, and i still gets billed. So i suggest that you go check out your currency after getting the error msg, to see if it really didn't go through, or if its just bugged, and you still gets billed. Els you can end up spending a lot of money.

The same has happened to me and I've tried to pay a few times. Where do I stand if I get charged all this money?
