OK seriously guys, what hints on thinking that any of the Mass Effect characters are gay? Including females? Asari doesn't count.
There are plenty of files left in the game of audio between Shep and certain characters for gay romances. Do a youtube search. As far as hints to whether someone is gay or not, you usually just can't tell right off the bat. Not every gay person is flamboyant. I was talking with some friends of mine and most people don't even know how real gay people are. They're just normal and not the stereotypes you see on tv and movies.

No, just no. What's up with the obsession with gay characters and romances on this forum. It's becoming really lame. Gays are small minority, why should they be in the game at all?

Kaidan/Maleshep romance would be totally hot. I definitely would roll a maleshep if they did that.

You can do it in game but you have to deal with some unspoken lines, some spoken lines by Hale (none related to the romance thankfully), everyone calling you a chick, having to use default Sheploo and the like. Also the sex scene has smexy male Shep replaced by default FemShep of all people.
Thankfully it imports fine in ME2 although one line of dialogue is missing and Kaidan refers to you as a woman.

That is an incredibly shortsighted view on the world. Lets just, you know, take all rights away from Muslims because they're a minority in our country. Gays should have the right to romance whoever they want in a game that is supposed to be all about forging the world around you through your actions and decisions. There should definitely be gay/lesbian relationships in ME3.

Bioware should really just give us another
monogendered sentient race that are predominately masculine. We have
Asari to cater to the heteorsexual fanbois... need something else to
balance it out by catering to the ****** fanbois and some fan girls.
Cuz not doing so is just so darn hypocritical.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie]

What does that have to do with rights? My point is that since gays are a minority, there is a chance you do not meet a single one considering you don't meet THAT many humans in Mass Effect. As for aliens, there is no evidence that proves turians or drell can even be gay. Personally, I don't care either way, I rarely romance anyone and I wouldn't mind gay squadmates. What I don't understand is the recent trend - "the game must have s/s romance" - in both ME and DA forums. Although I have to say that making Garrus gay in ME2 would be ridiculous.
