[SSV Enterprise]

So, I just got NWN 2 from a Steam sale and tried loading it up.  My first frustration was that throughout the menus for character creation, I saw lots of multicolored rectangles that said "Missing 2D Texture".  I looked up the problem and found something about lowering the textures to medium to fix this, but that failed.  Secondly, when I try to start a new game after creating a character, the game freezes!  Any possible solutions to this?

System specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Mobility Radeon HD 5470
Intel Core i3-350m CPU
4 GB DDR3 RAM

I really don't want to use old drivers, and KotOR works fine on my laptop, so it's not an issue of the game being a little too old.

EDIT:  Nevermind...immediately after posting this I started up the game, and all the problems were gone!  Steam had downloaded a several hundred megabyte "update" between now and the last time I tried playing...wonder what that did.
