"Project Lazarus", "Archangel", "The Shadow Broker", "The Illusive Man" and many others are terrible names that make me cringe whenever they are used. A lot of Miranda's dialogue makes me cringe. Jacob romance obviously. Every time jack refers to Miranda as "The Cheerleader" makes me cringe.

The total removal of the inventory the nearly none existing skill tree the backstep to ammo
and most importantly the race the chose for the Reaper

oh even more cringeworthy the mission screen and millions of loadingscreens the Hammerhead with its tinfoil armor and all the automatism

Finding out the evil race of aliens collecting humans are already aptly named "the Collectors".

Any dialogue concerning Shepard's action when destroying the genophage on Virmire. When is Bioware going to give me the option to cure the Krogan? Maybe I want them to breed like rabbits and take over the universe! I let the Rachni survive!

Having to talk to the Illusive Man. I hate the entire idea of Cerberus. They're much to Bond villain-y. When I talked to Anderson and the Council, there should've been an option for me to realign with the alliance and act as an inside spy on Cerberus by going along with the Illusive Man's plan. That way, the player would be given the illusion of choice while still playing through Mass Effect 2's story mission.

You can't go into a story like this, without expecting to find out where all the dairy products from the cheese shop that John Cleese visited, went. It's all going to be cheesy in some way -- most of the time directly proportional to however "epic" it is intended to be.

Benezia's dying words, however, made me shudder more than cringe. Here we have a character, whose very last thoughts were the realisation that either everything she has lived her life by is BS, any form of afterlife and all, or reckoning she's going to not so bright a place. This after our seeing the character's redeemption.

I always dislike the clipping problems (much more prominent in DA:O). Like during Thane's Loyalty mission when you do the renegade interrupt on Mouse the foot is (at least some times) in his chest as well as through his hands... HATE that.

Why are so many people saying "Horizon"

Did I miss something? Are they referring to the reuniting with Kaiden/Ashley that was really short and unfulfilling? That's the only thing I can think of...

Ever listened to most of Shepard's dialogue options on Horizon?  "Hey, how've you been?  It's been too long!"  It's... horrible.

-Testing Shep's memory, esp as a sole survivior. (Pretty much the fact that any Shep would probably have some sort of knowledge about Akuze and it never once got brought up...)
-Aria's ego trip
-Meeting up with the VS on Horizon. 2yrs and thats ALL Shep had to say. Guess s/he really didn't like the VS that much after all...
-The Asari Spectre's last few lines in LotSB; maybe not a cringe so much as a slap in the face, but still...
-No Paragon quick 'threat' in Thane's loyalty during the interrogation... Why would only a renegade pull that card...?!

Only thing I hated on Horizaon was when Kaiden said "I loved you!" and there wasn't a cheesy dialogue-interruption prompt to say "I love you too!". :pinched:

"It's been too long, Ash. How've you been?" *cringe* Ugh...

Also, 'Destiny Ascension', the name of the Council's compensation ship. Actually, that's much more of a facepalm. Seriously, it sounds like a JRPG title.

When you start off a conversation like that, it's really no wonder Ash/Kaidan gets upset with you.  Hell, I know I would.

Overall, I'd say the Horizon reunion goes well--until Shepard speaks. From then on, *cringe*

Agreed.  My first time through went something like: KAIDAN.  KAIDAN OMG YOU ARE HUGGING ME YOU SOUND KIND OF SAD I WILL MAKE IT BETTER.  Then Shepard speaks... and I proceed to watch the rest of Horizon play out with both hands covering my face and one eye peering through my fingers in terror.

Now I just go, "Oh god, Horizon again..." and try to take the best possible dialogue options.  There's always at least one line in there that makes me cringe, no matter what options I take.

Yeah, Horizon has some of the worst voice acting imo. Ashley's line "You're in the presence of a god." That to me sounded very lame, especially for the pious Ashley. I thought Kaidan's version "You're in the presence of a legend." sounded a lot more appropriate.

I also really do hate all the dialog between VS and Shep. Its so linear and unrealistic. One weak aspect of story driven games is when you are forced to say dumb **** that no one would ever actually say as a plot device to advance the story. Horizon does this glaringly.

When you meet back up with Garrus, Shepard just seemed like a total tool. That's not how I would greet him at all.

lol, almost forgot about that! It is indeed horrible, Shepard going "Garrus!" with that stupid smile on his face and his arms wide open. I don't think any ME1 player would've greeted Garrus like that.

Real funny. There's nothing unoriginal or annoying about saying that at all. Very creative.

EDI acting like she's human.

I mean come on! Who the hell in Cerberus programmed her with the ability to make jokes or conciously choose loyalty?

Data in Star Trek was interesting. 132 derivative works later make me wish EDI were human, so I could strangle her myself.
