Agreed.  My first time through went something like: KAIDAN.  KAIDAN OMG YOU ARE HUGGING ME YOU SOUND KIND OF SAD I WILL MAKE IT BETTER.  Then Shepard speaks... and I proceed to watch the rest of Horizon play out with both hands covering my face and one eye peering through my fingers in terror.

Now I just go, "Oh god, Horizon again..." and try to take the best possible dialogue options.  There's always at least one line in there that makes me cringe, no matter what options I take.

The whole Kaidan/Ashley thing was wrong, in ME1 you save the life of one of them, you've been to hell and back together, you've had each others back in a fight, and the outcome?, they just walk away saying they know where their "loyalty" lies????

The whole conversation with the VS on Horizon was one long horrifying cringe moment for me. "I was in a coma"?!?!?!?! What happened to "I WAS dead!" Did the writers of that line lose the memo about Shepard dying? Ashley calling Shepard a God. The only spiritual character from ME1 calling their commander a deity, even as an analogy?!?! Being called a traitor and not responding with either outrage or acceptance of the charge? SUCK!!!!

The only other moment that was even close to that bad was FemShep's attitude toward Jacob in their first conversation. "You can't get rid of me that easily, Mr. Taylor." in that flirty voice? What the HECK!!!! I'm not going to romance you this playthrough, and that just made sure I never will.

Since this is a non spoiler board, I'll just say this: ME2 main plot.

Vorcha.

Aria and Liara both chewing the scenery.

High-heels and cleavage in combat. In vacuum.

Mining.

Kelly Chambers' come-ons, but I always kill her for that.

Jacob's exposition throughout the game.

EDI's exasperated explanations for areas of the ship. Any real commander who needs tours after launch should be grounded.

Dogfight with the occuli. Too many Joker hormones and emotes. /shudder.

Engineers Donnelly and Daniels. Enough said.

Jane Shepard's animations. I don't have a problem with her appearing masculine from adopting John Shepard's movements. The problem is that she's a slim-shouldered, short person with short limbs who uses the animations that were tailored for a broad-shouldered, tall person with long limbs.

Drell.

When you meet back up with Garrus, Shepard just seemed like a total tool. That's not how I would greet him at all.

Lol, I actually think this works better with FemShep though especially since the lines that Garrus says to you seem flirty for some reason(It only sounds this way to FemShep but not ManShep for some reason, even though Garrus says the same lines). But when I heard ManSheps "Garrus!" (I watched a let's play with him) I cringed. I don't know it's weird like that. Just like how I think Garrus' "That's a little extreme, Commander" line during Thane's loyalty sounds better when saying it to FemShep. And not sure with Tali(since I never brought her on that mission) but maybe her "That's a little extreme, Commander" sounds better with ManShep?

Also, I totally agree about all the cringeworthy lines on Horizon. It was horrible.

Oh god. I remember how much I cringed when I was moving around in that dress for Kasumi's loyalty mission.

I always dislike the clipping problems (much more prominent in DA:O). Like during Thane's Loyalty mission when you do the renegade interrupt on Mouse the foot is (at least some times) in his chest as well as through his hands... HATE that.

They have that same exact clipping problem during Garrus' loyalty mission with Harkin.

There are things that I thought were kind of lame maybe. But the only thing that makes me "cringe" is embarrassing moments usually found in comedies when someone is about to do something really dumb. That usually makes me get up and leave the room for a few minutes as I seem to get embarrassed along with the person in the show. So this style of entertainment, more action etc. does not bother me.

I am Omega was kind of bad. That entire scene gave me too many tina turner in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome vibes. They just needed patriarch to carry a midget around and try to run the place. Who runs, barter town. Master Blaster.

1) HORIZON. It's one giant facepalm on Shepard's part.

2)Talking with Wrex first thing in the Normandy. Some of my Shepards are history buffs, they know better to compare the genophage to the human/turian conflict.

3) Some lines in support for Cerberus, coming from Shepard. No spoilers, but that stupid organization is incompetent, and really, no support can be justified if you're playing a cannon Shep. Watch out during Mordin's loyalty mission.

Even though it's a matter of taste, that dress looked better than anything else while aboard ship, I quickly change out of the cerberus uniform at the start, and the other official uniforms look really lame, it's the other way round with male shep, the informal attire from kasumi looks horrid, but he looks ok in the renegade outfit I don't even bother with the uniforms on any play through.

I think the dress is ok looking but I think the animations are so horrible when moving around in it. I also heard that it's really bad if you wear that dress during that one conversation with Garrus cause her legs are spread right open. I haven't seen it myself though. The outfit I always use(well only two playthroughs so far) with my FemShep is the Dr. Chakwas one. I wear it because I remember I always wanted to wear it in ME1 instead of the Alliance blue uniform. I got really excited for a few seconds when I went to change outfits(right before meeting TIM) and saw I could wear it. I hate the Cerberus uniform though.

This. Plus the moment when I realised I couldn't kill/beat the snot out of and then kill Delan. It still makes me angry as hell every time I play when the dip**** just walks away after talkin so much smack....
I'd pay like $20 for a DLC to take that guy with me and beat him up visceraly whenever I want, doin all kinds of sadistic, twisted things to him before I finally kill him by taking off his head... sry- got carried away

This. ME is my favorite game franchise ever but I wanted to vomit out of my eyeballs when this happened. I couldn't even make myself pretend it wasn't stupid.

Council's incapability in realizing that Sovereign is older than the Geth. A fact that would prove wrong their theory about it being just a Geth and get their attention in searching the origin of the thing.

*Horizon

*Miranda's "This is going to be one tough son of a **** to take down" line

*Most of Aria's lines

*any fShep convo w/ Jacob

*Shep NOT telling Ash/Kaidan that they are "tearing Shepard apart!" Okay that one is a joke.
