Do we even know that this will be a movie about Shepard? I'm still hoping the main character will be someone else entirely.

Edit: Furthermore, if Nicholas Cage even so much as glances at the part as Commander Shepard... I will find him, and force him to listen to sub-par yodeling music until he gives up and promises to stay away from Shep.

Is there a reason that the most powerful nation shouldn't be the one to lead humanity to victory?

If the aliens attacked Earth in 1st/2nd century AD, Rome would be saving the galaxy.

Henry Cavill hands down should play as Commander Shepard since they announced at comic con that the movie will be based on the first game and will be enrolling the main character to be male since this game isnt just for the fans it is a wide audience and their fore can not possibly ruin you're game play, just think of it as watching bioware's play through if bioware was a person. So quit ****ing about it will ruin my gameplay because its allways about you ****.

They haven't done ANY casting yet. Calm down. And while we're at it, might I suggest Russell Crow as Shepard? There's a bit of a resemblance (even more so with some Hollywood magic) and we all know the guy can act. ;D I'd say he fits the part.

Then I say it would be very safe to assume China or India would be the most powerful nation in the world by 2186
