Do you think that the world react to Hawke's class?

But will they also react to him if he or she is a rogue or warrior?
The only thing I know of that happens if you pick a class, is that you either get Carver or Bethany.

They probably react to Mage Spec: Blood Mage.Heretical wrote...
I heard that they will, as will as react to certain specs. Don't know about the validity of this however.
And the Warrior Spec: Templar.
Because Templars are all the rage in Kirkwall now:P.
And Blood Mage, well they are the most dangerous amongst mages.
I can't think about anything for Rogue's though.

But it'd be cool if NPCs reacted to you based on your class. But what would they say to a warrior, or a rogue?
"Hey, you! Yeah, with the big arms! I have some bandits that need killin', get over here!"
Or do you just appear naturally shadier if you're a rogue, thus attracting extra quests from the ne'er-do-wells of Kirkwall?
I guess I think it's just easier to stick out as a mage. Rest assured, though, that if mages do get more interaction because of their class, you can bet most of it will probably be negative.

I would like that, it reminds me of Slim Couldry's quests in Dragon Age Origins, which was Rogue only I think.SgtElias wrote...
Yeah, I suspect a mage Hawke is just going to get more attention. Apostates are sort of. . . frowned upon by society, and it's probably not something you can get away from some of the time.

That's actually what I had in mind, as well.

Rogue - thief faction?

You mean like Merchant's Guild?
That'd be cool, but I realize that idea is not founded in reality.

Ohh, class specific factions make me happy.

You'd be an apostate, so the circle tower is a little iffy.Golden-Rose wrote...

Hmm, true. Perhaps a secret band of apostate mages then?

You look like someone who's comfortable in heavy armor!
"You three look like you can do some damage."
I suspect that the easiest class difference to see pre-release without extra information is mage, but since non-mages get welded to Bethany it seems like some mage-hating is happening no matter what.

I really would like a thief/assasination society in Kirkwall you could help out, as a Rogue.
Yes, I'd love this too. The idea of class-specific factions in games has always appealed to me.

I think DA II might have a faction system, though it is probably only:' Do I side with the Mage's or Templars?'Golden-Rose wrote...

But maybe there are some side-quests where you can do missions for Merchants, Templars, Mages, Assassins and what not. And at some point these factions cross and you have to pick a side?
