I don't really think that we need any more armor or weapon packs. If you downloaded all of them (Cerberus Weapon and Armor; Arc projector; Firepower Pack; Equalizer Pack; several promotion items and you get weapons in the Zaeed and Kasumi DLCs too), then you have more than enough guns. And most of the armors are very überpowered and they don't have removable helmets, so I don't really like them.

Does anyone think that bioware will require you to have this new dlc in order to import into me3?

No. That'd the most idiotic thing BioWare has ever done

The wording suggests one and only one DLC before ME3. I don't understand why they have to stop; it can't take that long to write out these stories. :( :(

They're stopping CND because with ME3 on the horizon and another DLC Bioware likely needs all avialable people devoted soley to making sure that these last releases have high quality (this is the end of Sheperd's trilogy after all). I enjoyed CND greatly but I understand why it has to end.

In that case, I thank the CND writers for their work and let my opinion on the DLC.
With Mass3 being released later this year, it only makes sense we'd only get one final piece of DLC, and, seeing the recent TIM comic and the community's desire for an Ash/Kaidan related DLC, I'll almost bet it'll have something to do with Cerberus and the Alliance.
Which is actually rather fine by me ^_^.

If CND is going to devote a whole week to setting the stage for a new DLC then it must be an important 'bridge' DLC perhaps even longer than LotSB. Anyone agree?

Hmmm if they're only releasing one more DLC prior to ME3 being released, and considering how much time they've had/still going to have for it, it's gotta be a pretty substantial piece of DLC, especially if it's the last bridging one to ME3.

I'll be sad to see CDN go. It really added depth to the ME universe by being able to cover things like sports events and movie releases that just wouldn't fit in the game proper. It was pretty funny to.

Here's hoping the DLC is VS centered.

I don't think it's even possible for them to do that. If the DLC is so very important storywise, then they will assume you have completed it, should you not bother with it. Simple as that.

Concerning the stop of CDN, I'm glad they finally stopped wasting resources for it. If they wrote something every week or month I wouldn't mind it that much, but on a daily basis feels like too much.

Makes sense that they wouldn't do that as a gameplay/story decision.

As a business decision though it may be quite smart as many people will buy the dlc in order to import into ME3 resulting in more monies for bioware.

But doubt they will do that to their fans.

Kudos to the writers who gave us a fun time with the CND! It really added depth to the universe. Sad to see it go... Hope the new DLC sets up Shepard's hiatus between ME2 and ME3 (maybe he'll be brought in to Arcturus Station to answer for his crimes?). Would be nice to get a story-focused DLC, in any case.

Anyways, it'll be fun to see it return a few weeks prior to ME3. It'll help to drive the game's hype.

No, they wouldn't do that. If the DLC hasn't been completed then I bet we will have some kind of conversation at the beginning of ME3 that quickly explains what happened in LotSB, and other DLC.

It could go like this:

Liara: Shepard now that I'm -LotSB spoilers- I can help you on your mission.

Shepard: *Picks left dialogue choice* Really? What happened?

Or something like that. If you did the DLC then it goes along differently.

As much as i have loved the CDN, and DLC, pulling resources back from both is a good idea.

ME 3 needs everything they can put into it to be as epic as it should be.

I really hope this new DLC is as big or bigger than Awakening was. Preferably the latter.

I wonder what they'll use this DLC for, will it be meat and potatoes or just more fluff I wonder.

I will miss the daily news updates as well.

As for DLC, I remember someone from BioWare (Casey Hudson?) mentioning that they would support ME2 with DLC right up until ME3 was released.

But that doesn't mean frequent DLC releases or anything. I'm also jumping on the 'one or two more packs' train.

Shame about the daily news, but I guess it had to happen sooner or later.

Glass half full or half empty?

I prefer to look at it as: Oh good, we're getting another DLC before ME3 hits the shelves. ;)
