Eurogamer: Are we done with DLC for Mass Effect 2?
Greg Zeschuk:We're told we're still in development. We're not done yet. We're still ongoing.
Ray
Muzyka:We haven't announced details of the next ones yet. We're still
working on stuff in the Mass Effect universe actively. We haven't
announced any details of what that is yet, but we're working on lots
cool stuff.
Greg Zeschuk: We have a pretty long DLC plan for Mass. We're still doing lots of stuff there.
A good sign there is more than one coming, but still plans change.

Man I'm surprised they kept doing Cerberus daily news for so long. Props to whoever has been doing it all this time.
This. Actually, this deserves its own thread. They hear a lot about what we don't like. Nothing wrong with telling them that they did a good job on something... once in a while.

If thats true then all over the ME2 forum people will be saying "called it" and then pointing to the 2 years of DAO DLC promise <_<TelexFerra wrote...
We already knew there was another one coming but only one?
Oh well, it'll just get me more excited for ME3.
Especially how I think they had worded it that a number of bridging DLC that would follow the LoTSB style
http://www.1up.com/n...lc-bridge-story
"We have a bunch of packs that are in the works right now," Hudson said to Videogamer
in an interview. "So, for the time being there's going to be a
continued stream of DLC for people. We'll start to have packs that'll
tell the story between Mass Effect 2 and 3. But beyond that we kind of
have to see how people are responding to what we have and go from
there."
BW's offical motto: Plans Change.
I'm all for being wrong and hopefully there will be a continued stream of story driven DLC after the PS3 release, but it's kind of hard not to be skeptical after the DA:O debacle.
Keep in mind, they said that before Overlord's release. Since then, we got an armor pack, a gun pack, and Liar of the Shadow Broker, which weren't announced at the time.
Very true. I believe most players were (realistically) hoping for two more story driven DLCs before ME3. And by no means does this prove we are only getting one, but I just find it hard to blame skeptics after the DA:O debacle. On the other hand the DLC situation for ME2 was left pretty vague, so there were no "promices" to break.

I think an announcement shortly after the PS3 port of ME2 is released would be ideal, to be honest. I doubt there's a better way to capitalise on the expanded playerbase than by releasing paid content shortly after the game's release.

I hope the DLC is something new. I know people on this forum love nostalgia, and love things being rehashed to death, but I really hope the last bridging DLC isn't squandered on a romance sim or some other form of fan service pandering. This isn't the Star Wars prequels, where you throw in C3PO, R2D2, Anderson, and Virmire Survivor just to make fans clap their hands going "HEY! I KNOW THAT!!!"
Fully agreed. Give us something with the Reapers or the Alliance. Anything important. As fun as it would be to go on another loyalty mission-style quest with one of the characters, I want the last big DLC to have a focus on the main storyline.

Couldn't agree more. If i'm honest, I don't really like Ash or Kaiden - but as long as the mission makes sense and progresses the story, I'm happy.
LotSB was still amazing for those who hadn't romanced Liara in ME1, so I'm guessing Bioware will bring us something similar with the next one.
