So we've recently found out Merril is at least a temporary companion and apparently Fenris is a mage. So with Bethany, that makes at least 3 mage companions in DA2. And I've always thought that the people stood behind Hawke on the website were all his/her companions and you can sort of see the outline of each character so far. For example, the one on the far right could easily be Bethany and the one next to her, Carver. What does everyone else think?

Fenris is a two-handed warrior. Someone used Google translate on a German article.
So far we have:
Bethany/Carver - Mage or Warrior depending on your class
Aveline - Sword and shield warrior
Fenris - Two-handed warrior
Isabela - Dagger rogue
Varric - Crossbow rogue
Merril - ??? mage. Probably "Keeper."
"Anders" - looks mage, possible companion
Maybe one more companion. I think that dude turning away from the camera is in. Not sure what that is in his hand. A bow?
