In KOTOR, depending on who you brought along with you, there would usually be random different conversations between your party members during missions. Why didn't Bioware bring back this feature in Mass Effect 1 or 2? Not only would it be even more immersive, it would give you an added incentive to try out different combinations of party members just to see what kind of conversations they would have.

They have used that in Dragon Age Origin, and for me I like listening to what the people would say but it doesn't make me want to use different people. I still stick with a select 4 people for the majority of the game.
