So I have been trying to get the developer console to work but had no luck.

I am smart enough to follow basic instructions and did so (as per http://dragonage.gul...veloper_console ). I added the -enabledeveloperconsole to the shortcut including the space before the "-".

I can't call it in-game though. I know it is invsible but it just won't come up at all. I even remapped the key in settings.ini to see if that's why but that didn't work either.

So I am wondering, am I doing something very basic wrong or does the console not work with the D2D digital edition. I know Steam has a different workaround but there's none for D2D it seems.

If anyone has any experiences and/or pointers I'd be much obliged. :)

I'm using the D2D version also and eventually got the console to work.

The problem is that the default shortcut for DAO merely links to the launcher. As such, you'll actually need to make a new shortcut that looks like:
"C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe" --enabledeveloperconsole

Mind you, unlike with most games, there's no translucent box or flashing cursor that shows the console is open. The way you'll know the console is currently open (and accepting text input) is that you won't be able to move by right-clicking and it will seem like your controls are all locked out.

Pressing ENTER will exit you from the console running whatever command you typed.

For a simple test, I'd recommend leaving your inventory open then giving yourself a copper piece to see that it works:

runscript zz_money 1

Hope this helps!
