I'd rather think it's to make them look more Satanic as a foil to the Chantry to further the Chantry/Christianity symbolism, than to rip of WoW. As if WoW was the first to introduce the concept of horned humanoids.

It's also worth throwing out there that the Qunari in WoW are the result of a massive retcon themselves.



Though this conversation has been done again and this seems more like a general troll/hate thread than anything constructive.

They do not look like the Dreanai, the only quality they share are horns.



Thats like when people say "Hey you look like someone famous cause you both have a bald head or you both have long hair, or you both have the same one quality BUT REALLY YOU LOOK NOTHING LIKE THEM AT ALL BESIDES SHARING ONE QUALITY."

From what we've seen it doesn't appear that the Qunari are the foils of the Chantry. The witches seen in the Destinty trailer are the more likely foils since they're seen battling an army of Templars.
