Not 'himself', actually. As far we know, Qunari soldiers that return their home without their sword are killed on the spot. Of course, he may be overreacting.
The Kunari really have Horns on their heads now? are you serious?

Now, in the Heavily Implied Sten DLC, if he has horns, it will be disturbing.

i meant officially, as no qunari was aware he lost his sword at the time. also i don't think sten has enough emotions TO overreact, i have a hard time picturing sten being melodramaticDhiro wrote...

helmets? now that you bring it up. I'm sure the Quanari have appropriate helmets for those horns. I mean Why would they wear Human style helmets and armor when they have their own style of armor, much to their liking and comfortI doubt they'd need helmets at all, actually, since their horns are probably quite hard. Unless they're born without them, like Sten. In which case, they would use a human sized helmet. This is a case where the fact that this is a video game takes precedence; technically, a dwarf would not fit in human armor, but I don't want to bother sorting through the different sized armors. It's hard enough to find shoes in real life that come in wide.
I'm pretty sure Mary or someone else stated that one of the main reasons the Qunari in DAO didn't have horns was because Sten was a companion and they had to make him able to equip the helmets. And regarding what Cobrawar said, the Qunari might have their own style of helmets and armour as distinct from human armour, but this wasn't how DAO was designed and so they had to be able to equip the armour the game provided. It looks like this is changing in DA2, since the Qunari now seem to have distinct appearances beyond simply having horns (that red body war paint, for example).

He actually always has his sword equiped in the post-game Coronation scene, so we can assume that he found it himself without your assistance at some point. I realised this when I changed the model of only Sten's sword with the toolset and he had it equiped post-game.

Yeah, this is basically what I'm saying. At the risk of feeding a malicious creature, I have to ask: what on earth does ME sales have to do with a creature's appearance? They wanted to make the Qunari a visually distinct race, so they did. I'm pretty sure people didn't turn their nose up at DA:O because of Sten's appearance. I'm pretty sure a lot of them never realized he wasn't human, which is why they wanted to make the change in the first place.

Because, aparently, EVERYTHING is ME's fault. The new Qunaris, Isabela and her (lack of) pants, voiced protagonist and everything else that will make DA II be RUINED FOREVER.

Why does striving to improve something always have to come back to profit? Do you want everything to remain static, unchanging? Sure some changes won't come off but I don't want anyone involved in any creative endeavour to stop trying to improve their creations.
And besides you still haven't provided any justification for this change indicating anything beyond it being cosmetic or the fact that they made it because people thought the Qunari were human in DAO.

I don't think Horns make a character visually distinct but rather much more menacing. Sten with horns looks totally different then a Sten without horns. Sten without horns is more welcoming.
And................. so what?
