I just purchased and downloaded ME2 from metaboli and the game is defective - wont run.

I dont mind paying again provided i can finally play the game!  anyone knows where to download the game from that wouldnt give the error message?  I am no computer expert, i just want to download and play, i dont want to mess around with editing ini files and all (not to mention that i did everything and it still didnt work)

so if anyone knows where to download from that doesnt give an error message, that would be great.  please help, i have just spent about 4 hours trying to fix it and i just really want to play :(

I heard many things about Metaboli, none of them positive. You can download ME2 from Steam or Impulse, or even from EA using their downloader. These digital download services work fine.

Since you already registered the game you an just download and install the EA Download Manager, log in, and download the game legally without extra cost.

Also, post the exact error. It's possible this is a common problem with a simple fix.

For future reference. http://social.biowar...6/index/4795299

Posting your specs, and the exact details of the error helps, as it gives us more information to work with.

As Moondoggie said, welcome to PC gaming. Frustrating at times, but a learning experience. Ive been working with computers for over 30 years, and still learn something new every week.
