So I got to thinking- If PS3 version is using the ME3 engine-> that kinda sux- I was expecting awesome new visuals for ME3.
But then I thought- Why did ME2 have such a flimsy plot with more holes than... something a s**t load of gaping, iritating, mindnumming holes. Like if Mona Lisa was 75% holes.
The main focus of ME2 was graphics emprovement and gameplay(graphics- awesome, gameplay- as close to awesome as an RPG has gotten- still waiting on DA2). So I was filled with hope for ME3- If they AREN'T spending ANY time on building a new engine and radically changing gameplay- the story should be the main focus, right?
A couple of questions now:

1) Do you want PS3 ME2 engine to be ME3 engine? (keep in mind if it is, it doesn't look impressive cuz PS3 doesn't handle it well)
2) [IF it IS ME3 engine] Where should the focus fall in the final installment- gameplay or story?
3) How good does ME3 need to be to make it worth your while for ME2? [very- you disliked ME2/ doesn't need to be that good-you liked ME2]

I just want the PS3 ME2 to look like the 360 ME2. I think I had enoough of jesse houston, casey hudson, and the other bioware staffs lying to the PS3 gamers. All they want is to make PS3 owners pay 60 dollars. ME2 on PS3 is complete sh*t compared to 360/PC.

I've looked at both the 360 and ps3 version's on Mass effect 2.

The ps3 version looks and plays better than the 360. You guys should deal with it.

Meanwhile on the PC they'll have all the cool visuals, but a ****ty means to control it. Yes, I am talking about the mouse and keyboard.

You do know that Mass Effect 2 was built to run at 720p, so the upscaling would affect it somewhat

Out of subject, but yes I know that. I scanned my T.V. to 720p for the ME2 demo before and nothing ;)

Yes especially the fact that I played Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Uncharted 2, and Metro 2033 on that TV right? Yes these eyes are apparently broken

Hardware defines also visuality possibilities, not just software. Meaning you can't increase visuality just with software, if hardware can't support it.

Crysis - You could be legally blind and still see that Crysis looks amazing.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R - No.

Uncharted 2 - lol really? Suede: the game?

Metro 2033 - Good.

You make of list of different games, instead of a list of games that are multi-platform in an attempt to prove to me that your eyes are, in-fact capable of seeing the differences of the same game on a different platform.

C'mon, you gotta try a little harder than that.

Don't feel bad man, you're just getting exclusivitis. You can't handle the fact that we got finally got the reason to own a xbrocks.
What's the reason now? Kinect? dohohohohoho

I had the PS3 demo and 360 version play on two seperate HDMI channels and honestly there isn't really that much difference.

The PS3 version has some better lighting effects, but the framerate kept bouncing all over the place, and the FMV quality was terrible. 360 version still retains better textures and consistent framerate.

Funny since the ME2 on the 360 is locked at 30 fps and the ps3 version hits around 58 or 60 at max.

Oh come on people. It's still Unreal Engine 3, don't expect graphic improvements.

And Sony fanboys, stop posting here. You making PS3 owners like me look like stupid "mah console haz better graphix than yourz" kids.

And no, PS3 is not superior to Xbox 360. Cell won't fix incredibly stupid architecture and terrible GPU.

BTW, almost all games based on UE3 looks worse on PS3 (thanks to stupid architecture).
