Don't remember exactly. I know it was in the arcades though. It was either Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, or Pac Man.
What was the first video game you ever played?

That sort of thing never gets old. I'm so childish.Moondoggie wrote...
I had a few of those text adventures. Used to have hours of fun telling people to take a s**t and they would say "Don't know how to take a s**t"

Reminds me of my favourite saying.
"To be a child is to be a fool and to be a fool is bliss" ^^

I can't remember my first. It would have been something on the Sega Gamegear. The first I remember playing is Super Mario RPG.

okay let's see how many of old timer veterans of game systems remember the Atari system. First game ever played was Wizard of War on Atari.
After that was Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong and the first Zelda game on Nintendo.
I still have and play my Nintendo 64 for Zelda the Ocarina of Time and Majoro's Mask

This is pretty sad, but I believe it was Rambo on the NES. I can't recall exactly, either that or Super Mario 2.

The first game I ever owned I know for sure was Ninja Gaiden for the NES even though I played Nintendo games like Zelda and Mario over at my friend's house before then during the 80's. I remember I had to ask my dad to hook up the NES because I couldn't figure it out. I'm still a technophobe even today.

Someone up our road had a Pong, but I thought it was deadly boring.AshedMan wrote...

Someone else had a BigTrak, that programmable wheeled thing. I'm sure that's what the Mako is based on!

Pong at a TV - it was THE party hit.
Then I was a long time not interested in (computer)games and started with all this in the early 90es with "Stonekeep", "Might & Magic". Since then I never stopped playing as a hobby.
