Humans thought the darkspawn wiped out for centuries, of course they got some facts wrong.

The only reason they had sharp teeth in Origins was because the Grey Wardens, or people in close proximity to Grey Wardens, forced them grin and it "changes" their face and makes them appear friendlier.

I know, hurlocks have human teeth, so they should have no trouble eating people.

Well, given the fact that the story is told by a narrator (Varric) anything that is not corresponding with current lore (or just being unrealistic, like a human jumping over city walls or something) can be accredited to him making things up.

As for what I'd change - how about metal armor that doesn't move like leather. I don't know if that was just on console but it just didn't look 'hard' - nothing did to be honest IMO. Am I alone?

THIS.  I'm not sure it's something we'll see a fix to soon, so I haven't brought it up, but if you're going to have "stretchy" models, can you make them stretch in places that it is LOGICAL for them to stretch?!  The BREASTPLATE of their armor shifting around when they move their shoulders makes no sense at all.

Also, doing this would basically force the design of more "realistic" armor and animations because you'd have limitations on what can and can't move.

They have weapons, I don't think they need predatory teeth anyway.

I don't really like the new darkspawn look either. But I can't say if they are better or worse than the old ones. And I think we won't see too many Darkspawn anyway. They are not the main enemy as they used to be in DA:O.

Erm, we don't even know if they eat meat anyway--supposedly the taint alone sustains them for centuries underground.  They're not attacking in order to obtain a food supply.

Dunno, I always assumed they are cannibalistic. They turn females into Broodmothers and feed the males to them. That's not a far stretch.

They don't need to eat. If they do, it is for different reasons.

And they turn human/elven/dwarven/qunari females into broodmothers. They need to eat, and the men are close at hand.

Gaidner confirmed in another thread that only the taint sustains them and darkspawn do not eat to live. They can eat, but eating is done for other reasons. Also, broodmothers are not darkspawn - they are female ghouls. Darkspawn are "grown" and do not need to consume food to live.
