OK, I downloaded the CC and created a character and so got a nice ring to be used in the game as a reward, as was promised. I then uninstalled the CC.

But where did that character I successfully uploaded actually go? 
Can I look her up somewhere under "my games" or "my content" or some such in here?

Yeah im the same... I have the Ring, i've created my character... I haven't uninstalled the CC but how do i transfer that character to the game now?

I also have uploaded some characters using this profile and still i cnt find a way to find them, apart from this way:

Open the creator (which unfortunately means u [thread creator] must install it again), then go to modify/delete character (if u still hav characters in the "library" if not go to create new character), u dont hav to change anythin, but skip to the last stage where u upload your character, now make sure u r signed in (if not u can from the button in the bottom left if i remember rightly) and then click the "online profile" button, this will bring u to the page where u can see your characters, bookmark this page and u shuld b able to visit that page whenever u want, but remember it takes a few hours for the character u uploaded to appear their. I, so far, have found no other way of finding this page without using the link in the character creator, i believe that if u look at the address and try to backtrack from that u culd find the link to that page on these forums which wuld mean u dnt need to go into the creator again and again (if the bookmark doesnt work).

As for how u transfer your characters from the creator to the game idk, isnt there a tool in the game that does that? if it needs to b done manually there must b instructions somewhere, maybe u culd ask in the general discussion forum? and if that doesnt work try to contact a dev, but make sure u google it first. I dnt hav the game yet cos my current PC isnt good enuf, but im gettin a new one at xmas, problem is my creator is installed to this PC, and if I uninstall it i mite lose the character, which wuld mean creating them was a waste of time, my guess was that there wuld b a folder where all the characters r saved so i culd just copy that over to save them but of yet im still to find it.

You know, the only reason I wanted to find her again was that I saw a "prettiest character"-thread here, so I thought perhaps I could enter the contest with her.

So I can't really say this is a large crisis, exactly. :-D

i dont know if you will get this cos the thread is so old but hopefully u will:)

i found out where the characters r saved, a pretty obvious place but nonetheless vital if u r still interested

C:\\Documents and Settings\\[YOUR USER NAME]\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Pre-release Characters

all the characters seem to be in there, whether or not u can move them and actually put them into the game is another question which i cnt answer cos i dnt get the game til xmas however i can install the creator onto my new pc and try to import them to that, and if that works it shuld work with the game, also there shuld b sum xtra files for the characters u uploaded, image and data files i think, along with the actual save of the character, if u just copy all the contents and move them into the game or wotever it shuld work

if u worked this out alredy sos lol but i just thought u wuld like 2 no if u hadnt found them
