So I'm sitting here enjoying Mass Effect, I create the cure in the quarantine labs, for some reason the journal says "given the chaos caused by your breaking into the secret labs, you no longer have time to deal with this" I try to leave and the door is locked "quarantine lab locked down it says". After frantically running around the room for 10 minutes I go online look for a guide and it says that some asari is supposed to come in the room after the cure is made.  She doesn't come in!  This is going to send me back like 3 hours, does anyone know a way to get out of this lab?  If not this is a horrible glitch that is going to ruin my mass effect experience.

Never happened to me. But suppose "given the chaos caused by your breaking into the secret labs, you no longer have time to deal with this" means you're screwed!



Have you attacked the two drones behind the room on the main level where the Elcor trader sits?

When I went into that room they said they worked for Benezia and attacked me. I killed them, the trader was already gone. The funny thing is I don't remember causing chaos by breaking into the secret labs. I play this game slow and read everything and try to play the way they want me to. This is seriously frustrating - locked in a lab and I can't get out...

This is most definitely a glitch. Are you sure its going to send you back 3 hours? There is a lot of autosaves. I believe there is one right when you help the guard captain so you should be fine.

Yeah I'm going to be sent back all the way before I even enter Peak 15. I am so mad right now, ugh!

That's impossible. There are a bunch of autosaves in between there.

I promise you shinobi602, I'm looking at my screen right now and my auto save which I just loaded puts me at the M35 mako - before you get to Peak 15. I have no idea why my game did not auto save.

Wow, that sounds like an unforeseen glitch of some sort. Never happened to me.



At any rate, stuff like this is usually fixed by simply loading an earlier save and trying again.

When you reaload (sorry, Bro!), don't touch those drones. You can avoid fighting Cpt. Ventralis altogether. Go to the Quarantine, make the cure, kill the Asari Doctor/Commando, bring the cure to Dr. Coen, obtain his key card, go back to the Quarantine, sneak into the Secret lab, kill Benezia, kill the Rachni queen, then go to the Hot lab and neutron purge it. That's the best way to do it.

If only I would have saved on seperate slots instead of overwriting my previous save. From now I will create a new save every time. The only reason I saved over is because this games been out for over two years and I thought all the patches would have fixed all the glitches.
