I mean it's like hating Germans because of Hitler, only this is even more pathetic reason to hate them.

I know they created the Geth and tried to destroy them but the council practically destroyed the Rachni and the Krogan. I just dont understand why they get all this crap off the council for it.
It's more than just the creation of the Geth. The Quarians themselves walked away from the council after the Council refused aid.
It's also the current state of affairs that causes animosity. Basically, the Quarian people are a moving economic and military front not assosiated with the Council, but are strong enough to cause waves wherever they go inside Council territory. Wherever they pass, they drive up prices, take up jobs and Quarians claim planets and resources that can be contested, risking clashes with races that are allied with the council. To the council, this makes picking sides easy.
They're a giant burocratic, economical and political quagmire. They don't fall under council jurisdiction, but they are there and make just as big a mess as any other allied race, if not more so.
Group members simply aren't fond of others who don't want to play their rules, but are in the same room as them. Sounds stupid and immature, but that's how people work. You're either with us, or you stay at an agreeable distance. The quarians are neither and the Council Races feel threatened by that.

i dont understand the hate either, possibly the Quarian politics about being determined to reclaim their homeworld thus causing an all out war makes them undesirable to deal with or reform an alliance with them.
also like the previous poster said, since being refugees they go around mining random places probly stepping on toes as they do

"There's a reason [the quarians] have been stuck in space since before humans had powered flight. They've had countless opportunities to atone for unleashing the geth into civilized space. Have they done it? No. Have they even tried? No. Are they going to? No! According to them, they're the victims. It's the geth's fault the quarians gave them sentience, just like it's their fault they decided to use it. Had the geth been maybe just a little more successful in their rebellion, who knows? I certainly don't support genocide, but in the grand scheme of things, you gotta wonder if the geth would have attacked us at all if they had better examples of organics to learn from.
"The 'Migrant' Fleet. Let's take a close look at what that means. Migration, by definition, means moving from one destination to another. Look it up in the dictionary. 'To move from one country or region and settle in another.' The quarians don't migrate. They're not settling anywhere. They've never even tried adapting or integrating with any other culture. It's an infinite universe, filled with an infinite number of worlds they could discover and colonize, and they've got a fleet larger than any other species in the galaxy combined. So why haven't they done it? In the past century, we've colonized dozens of systems, hundreds of worlds. It takes hard work. Perseverance. But at a more basic, simple level, we decided to do it so our species wouldn't be confined to one world. So that humanity, regardless of what happens to Earth, will persevere. You don't keep all your eggs in one basket.
"The quarians just don't seem to have that drive. That cost them their homeworld, and it's why they now don't have a single colony to call home. Who's to blame for that? I got two guesses for you. And it ain't the geth, and it certainly ain't us!
"You know, I think there's a better definition that more accurately defines the quarians. Maybe it's time we start calling the flotilla what it really is. The Vagrant Fleet. They don't contribute. They don't build. They take. They consume. They descend on a system like locusts and strip bare any planet they can reach. They steal, and pilfer from even those who are truly struggling out on the rim of civilized space, robbing what other honest, decent folk worked hard to earn, and when everything of value is gone they move on. It's a vagrant fleet. An invasion fleet.
"Even their mere passing will tie up a mass relay for days. Imagine having to wait a week before traversing the Charon relay just to get to Arcturus. Imagine for a moment, what would happen if the Vagrant Fleet were to come to Sol. I hate to say it, but if the quarians and geth can't make peace, can that be far behind? Are we going to offer up our home to the poor, helpless quarians? Is our solar system next to host the great galactic tent city, until what little resources we have left are sucked dry?
"It makes you think, doesn't it? Now you know I don't support extremist groups like Earth First, Terra Firma or Cerberus. But I understand them. I understand the need for them. In a galaxy where every other species looks out for itself... where they predate our ascension by centuries, and in some cases millenia, sometimes it takes a few radical voices to make us pay attention to what is going on right under our noses. We have it pretty good here, and it makes us complacent. And even though Chicken Little runs around with his little wings in the air screaming 'the sky is falling'... sometimes it's not just an acorn falling from a tree. This time, the sky may truly be falling."

I like the quarians I have met, too. Besides Prazza, (who had just a tad bit of an attitude), they have all been nice. The elcor too. Some of the Turians and Asaris are just arrogant. (Not all of them! So everyone dont start hatin on me at once, lol.)

They hate them because Quarians are morons. They attempted genocide of a sapient race and failed. They then proceeded to run away for 300 years instead of just colonize a fraking rock already and move on. The Battlestar Galactica reference is just garbage when you have a galaxy of peaceful aliens and the Cylons dont actually want to kill you...
Quarians are far from being moronic. They have their faults just like the rest. But they are not stupid.

Heck yes! lol This is a slightly mean version of the truth. They messed up by trying to blindly destroy the Geth without thinking of another way then when they were beaten they just float around on their ships for 300 years still plotting their revenge and some fantasy of taking the homeworld back. They defend the idea of not finding a new world by saying it would take centuries to get use to the world without their suits.... yet they've wasted 300 years doing nothing in their suits.
If they don't want to spend there lives in a fleet than don't.... go out find an ok world and start a new.
Its shocking that the only Quarian that is sane is Qwib-Qwib.

Do they had any proof that geths would have left them live if they re-settled on another planet? No. Did anyone tryed to help them to deal with geths or find another planer when they were much vulnerable after the Morning War? No. So they had to remained in exile for generations and then, as explained by Tali since ME1, theyr weakened immune system didn't allowed them anymore to settle on another planet (probably because of their dextro-protheic biochemic too) that isn't Rannoch. Onestly sounds much more solid than Battlestar Galactic itself...

You're sort of ignoring:
a. The Council won't let them settle anywhere in Council space, going so far as to forcibly evict them from one planet which they then gave to the Elcor.
b. Settling in the Terminus would be asking for it.
c. Adjusting to a new world would be a lengthy and casualty-inducing process.
d. All the context in general.

Also, they will settle colonies eventually anyway. Why not start already, start fixing the damage the 300 years of stupidity caused to their bodies.

Considering that most of those ships have only some defensive weaponry, are really old and must be constantly repaired, and have been heavily modified into being housing or hydroponic farms or other decidedly non-military roles...no. Not for long and not too effectively, anyway.
