Hey guys, new to the forums and I have a question.
I recently bought ME2 and played it all the way through and absolutely loved it. It was an amazing game, to say the least. With ME3 coming out by the end of the year, and with ME3 using variables from both ME1 and ME2, do you guys think it's a good idea to buy ME1 and play it as well?
The only thing that is holding me back from buying ME1 and playing it is that I feel like I am going to be spoiled after ME2. From the looks of it, ME1's combat system seems a little less fine-tuned than ME2's.
However, it would seem like a good idea to try out ME1 to learn more about the story and just to get that extra personalized gaming feeling in ME3.
I really have no idea what to do, as I don't want to play ME1 and just be bored due to the combat and other factors.
Should I get ME1?

Yes, you should. While it is less shiny, the story and its epicness more than makes up for it. Plus if you import, you really feel like its your Shepard, not some default one. And you get to beat up Conrad Verner.

If you played ME2 for the immersion, ME1 will be fine.
If you played ME2 for the shooting, ME1 will be a little less fun. It's still good though -- absolutely amazing game.
