Does anybody here (or rather has anybody here) made a playthrough of ME 1 and/or ME 2 without romancing/sexing a single person? I have, I do it quite frequently. IMO it is more realistic, as you would think Shepard's first and foremost concern is the fate of the Galaxy and its people...

yeah. In ME1 you just stare into your screen until you get to illos.

In ME2, you do the same.

After the suicide mission though Kelly strips for you if you did not reomance nobody.

I have 1 in which I didn't romance anyone in ME1 but I did romance Jacob in ME2 but he got killed in Suicide Mission.
Does it count?

EDIT#1
I have one more in which I started romance with Liara and Ahley but I dumped Liara and Ashley died on Virmire while in ME2 I only tried with Samara and you know what happens. Does it count?

Odd, to me it just skips to relay.
No monitor screen scene.

She only does that if you flirt with her enough.

I'm not sure this is true; as far as I recall, it just skips directly to the final scenes.

Yeah, actually my canon Shep romances nobody. No time for stuff like that with galaxy to save.

Yeah, but it's not like Shep spends absolutely every waking moment out in the field.  And besides, the romances are subplots, even sidequests, not the main show (though I suppose you wouldn't know it from the way we all go on about it XD).

I romanced no one in my first ME1 playthrough, but I did do the Garrus romance in ME2.  I've also got an unfinished FemShep playthrough with no romance at all--still working on getting her to ME2 at the moment.

Honestly I don't get the whole "Shepard is busy saving the galaxy s/he doesn't have time for romance!" - logic, but whatever. I have several Sheps who didn't romance anyone in ME1. Was kind of boring just standing by the lockers by yourself but meh. Tried to go through ME2 as a single gal but then Garrus spoke to her and well...the whole single thing didn't end up so well.

I have yet to romance someone from ME1. They just didn't seem to click with my Shep, and I hate to feel like I'm leading anyone on.

In ME2 I romanced Garrus, but I plan to make a maleshep that will be romanceless for both games. [Holding out for Kasumi or Samara maybe?]

Skipped romancing anyone in ME1 as I didn't like any of the options well enough. Went for Garrus in ME2. Looking forward to seeing what ME3 brings. :)

On most of my playthroughs I refrain from romancing anyone. I've done a few playthroughs with a love interest just to see what they're like, though. I honestly prefer Shepard being lonely acting with professionalism.

Your call man, the romances add involment in the story and chracters and make to rhole-playing more interesting, but if you prefer rhole-playing a lone wolf wo wanna do his job instead of having some alien-icious love before a mission, good for you.

It's not just because I want to play Shepard as a lone wolf. I also prefer most of the squadmates outside of their romances. For instance, Tali's my favorite character, but I'm not crazy about her gushing over Shepard and getting all stuttery during their romantic interlude. This is just me, though.

My Femshep is an intergalactic player. Post game, bring every romance option to the final conversation. Save, sex, reload, sex the other one. But in the end, stay faithful to kaidan. Separate save for Garrus.

Some dialogue ARE better in fact. I've heard of many people who prefer the last dialogue with Miranda if you don't romance no one more than her sex scene, for example. I'm not saying that to offend anyone, but just to say that I can understand you POV.

I've got two characters who are jingle jangle single for both games now. Mass Effect 1 without the romance cut scene always makes me grumble a little because it really helped with the build up to Ilos.

The reason I didn't romance anyone(s) in the second game with these two either was mainly because I played them both quite renegade and both really enjoyed almost dying all the time. It didn't feel in character for either to get emotional attachments.

(I do enjoy the romances on my other characters though <3)

My first Shepard Romanced Ashley (Vanguard). I can't say he's my main charater buuuutt...anyway. So he didn't cheat at all during ME2. I made another Shep, (Adept) He romanced no one in ME1, and I haven't gotten a chance to choice who he romances yet. Game glitched on me and wants me to restart.

RESTART MY FOOT!

I tried this too.  One of my characters romanced Jacob and then I got him killed.  I ended up fitting it into her story quite nicely, but I originally did it FOR SCIENCE!  I'm curious to see if it will count as "cheating" on Kaidan and how they'll address it.

But no, I don't have any romance-less Shepards.  The romance sub-plots are way too much fun.

I'll do a romanceless playthrough of ME1 and ME2 if Samara is a full LI in ME3. Otherwise, I'll stick with Liara.

NOTE: I have no idea what happens if you don't talk to Ashley in ME1.

She approached me in my room like normal, and I just shut her down there.

Well I didn't romance anyone until ME2 (Tali if you're curious) if that somewhat counts.
