Well i don't know much about the romance, because i just restarted and didn't get very far in my first try because i got lost lol. But i did have a swhing or two with Morrigan, SO i prefer her just because her boobs are always falling out:) plus she's got the hot evil look to her

Yeah, Allistair's right up there with Garrus for the ultimate bromance. He's arguably my favorite Bioware character period.

Tie between Morrigan and Leliana. Out of all of BW's latest games those two romances are my favourite (aside from Ash in ME). As long as the characters in DA2 are as well written as those in Origins I'll be happy with whatever romances exist.

Isabella as a romance possibility would also be interesting to see. I liked her character in Origins, though her model left much to be desired. She looks alot better in DA2, more like thedaring pirate she's supposed to be.

Viconia and then Aerie. Aerie was just too easy while I really had to chase Viconia. LOL it just came to me that the two of them are pretty much Morrigan and Leliana.  <_<

For Females:
Zevran > Alistair

But overall:
Sten > them all

EDIT: Oh and for DA2 I'm hoping for Aveline.

Leliana without a doubt is my favorite romance from DA:O... and probably my favorite one Bioware has ever made.



Aveline doesn't appeal to me at all tbh, I'm not into masculine women. I really like the looks and character design of Isabela though and the sound of a rivalry path romance intrigues me.

However, with the recent news about Merrill possibly coming back as a companion I may change my mind. I really liked her in the DE origin and was hoping she'd show up again later in the game but it wasn't meant to be.

P.S. When it was first revealed that Flemeth gives us a package to be delivered to the DE's clan my first thought was "Awesome! Hmmm... I wonder if Merrill will be back, maybe she could even be a companion!" So... IN YOUR FACE!

I mean Fenris is good looking but Varric seems to have the kind of personality I'd enjoy. Dont know if either is romanceable though or if there are other options.

Alistair in DA:O, really well written, probably Isabela in DA:2. Sounds like her romance will be the most interesting RP-wise out of the ones known so far.

Morrigan, Morrigan, Morrigan. I've had entire carefully-planned out playthroughs wasted because I just couldn't help myself. ("Okay, this time this character is going to romance Leliana, and that's that! Hmm? What's that Morrigan? It's cold in your tent? Well...we might have to do something about that.") She's just too perfect and irresistable a character for my particular tastes.

She's a tough nut to crack, and that just makes you enjoy what's within the shell that much more. And I love how the relationship doesn't end with sex; if anything, that's where it starts. Note to BioWare: please include plenty of obstacles in the romance paths. When Morrigan turns you down for "tent time," I was thrilled. When Liara in LotSB is making it sound like two years was too much, I think I actually gasped a little bit and said "ooh, drama!" It's why I *thought* I was going to love the Ashley romance in ME1...the way she goes off about regulations against fraternization. Unfortunately she never so much as mentions them after that, but it was a good start. The best ones make you fight for it.

Anyway, I don't know enough about the DA2 characters, but my first character will probably be rivalry-romancing Isabela, and if Fenris is an LI, a female character (a mage, probably--drama!) will definitely be all over that.
